On to the next….

Four years, countless lessons, and a legacy bigger than just a diploma.

From becoming Student Council President at my school, to competing as a student-athlete, leading in multiple organizations, and pushing myself academically, I proved that you never have to shrink yourself to fit into anybody else’s box.

I’ve learned that being a young man means defining success for yourself, not by the limits people place on you, but by the standards you set for yourself. You can be an athlete and a scholar. A leader and a learner. Focused, driven, and unapologetically multifaceted.

If my journey showed anything, it’s that representation matters. I hope I’ve helped pave the way for the young men coming after me to know that there is space for all of who they are. You do not have to choose one lane because others can’t understand your vision.

This chapter closes with gratitude for every challenge, every victory, and every lesson. The next chapter opens with even bigger purpose.

To every young person especially my siblings: break barriers, set the standard, and never let anyone place a ceiling on what God has already called you to become.

The Accolades of my four years in High School:

Senior Class President
St Tammany Parish Student Representative
President of National Honors Society
Four Year Varsity Track Letterman

Dear Track,

I still remember trying out in 7th grade after years of travel soccer, not knowing what this sport would become for me. Learning how to survive the pain of the 400, trust my team in the 4x400, and find strength in the 800… track has shaped me in ways I never expected.

It taught me discipline when I wanted to quit, mental toughness when the race got hard, and how progress isn’t always shown on a stopwatch. It gave me friendships that turned teammates into family, lessons that reached far beyond the track, and a stronger version of myself.

Losing regionals hurts. No point pretending it doesn’t. But one race doesn’t define the work, the growth, or the journey.

Every practice, every setback, every breakthrough, and all them mornings at Joe Brown & City Park track 😒😂, was building something bigger than this moment.

This isn’t the ending I pictured, but it’s the start of the next chapter. The lanes may change, but the lessons, memories, and mindset this sport gave me will carry me forward.

Thank you, track. For everything.
