What a day 🎉 We’re still smiling after Friday’s Summit! It was brilliant to catch up with so many familiar faces, finally meet some of you properly and see the room full of conversation from the moment everyone arrived. Thank you to every person who joined us and threw themselves into the day. You chatted, shared ideas, asked questions, swapped phones to take photos, cheered each other on and brought such warmth and energy into the room 🧡 A huge thank you to our morning speakers: ✨ @sineadkellystyle
✨ @samanthakellymedia
✨ @marina_branigan You each brought something valuable to the day and gave everyone plenty to think about and take back into their businesses. Our fireside panel with Sandra Thompson @thompson_admin_services Aisling Donnelly @aadvirtualsolutions and Denise Magill @itsdenisemagill was everything we hoped it would be. Thank you for being so open about the wins, the difficult parts and everything that happens behind the scenes when you’re building a business. The laughs were a bonus! Thank you to our SVAI Awards judges @renskeensing @eileenirelandgdpr @thesimplifiedsocialmedia and @accelerateaccounting , for giving so much time, thought and care to this year’s judging process. A massive congratulations to all of our 2026 finalists and winners too! 🏆 We’ll be spotlighting each of this year’s award winners over the next few days, so keep an eye out for those posts. The team at @aloftdublincity looked after us so well from start to finish. We couldn’t have asked for a better setting for the day and evening. Thank you as well to everyone who helped us behind the scenes, both in the lead-up and on Friday itself. Alan @alandanieltobin deserves a very special mention for running our professional headshot station and helping us with so much more throughout the day. Ellie’s sister, Siobhan, also lent a hand on Friday. We really appreciated having you both there! 🧡 Thank you from both of us for making the SVAI Summit 2026 such a brilliant day. Cat & Ellie xx

The SVAI Summit & Awards 2026 ✨️ What's always a magical day felt even more special this year as everyone gathered at @aloftdublincity. From the talks we heard by: ✨️ @sineadkellystyle on personal brand and image. ✨️ @samanthakellymedia on LinkedIn networking. ✨️ @marina_branigan on working to our strengths. ✨️ @thompson_admin_services, @itsdenisemagill & @aadvirtualsolutions on the reality of business. It was all inspiring, insightful and impressive. Lots and lots to think about and take away for sure. Then the awards themselves! To be nominated alongside @createnesz & @the.social.curve was a massive honour. 🙌 To win Creative Service Provider of the year was a shock and an incredibly proud moment! 🥰❤️ Not only that, I got to join the team of @foundryhq.ie this year and be part of the Team of the Year. 🏆 The best part was celebrating with women I've known for years now who's support, advice and cheers only get louder! Well what can I say! What a day! 🏆✨ Still buzzing after the SVAI Awards and Summit. Great workshops, great speakers and a room full of fab women. My big takeaway? The duck 🦆 We all got the same pieces and every single one came out different. Same tools, completely different builds, express who we are through the work that we do. That one stuck with me. Other takeaway... I desperately need a stylist. Thanks menopause 😂 And then the awards ❤️ 🏆 FoundryHQ won Team of the Year 🏆 And I got the Community Impact Award Team of the Year belongs to the fab team I work with every day, the crew who keep me sane @hannah.theva, @the.social.curve, @spuddigital, @thisisohso , @iona_digitaldesign . So proud of what we’re building. Community Impact is the one that got me. I’ve always felt business is about the people you help along the way, so I hope that I’ve helped / inspire others to take that leap of faith. We are all only winging it anyway x Congrats to all the nominees and winners @mccann_va , @ryan_virtual, @hummingbirdcollective_va, @elevateadmin_consultancyanchor and @kadamanagement and a massive thank you to @thecatherinetobin and @theellieclogher @virtualassistantsireland for a brilliant day 🥂 #SVAIAwards #SVAISummit #FoundryHQ #TeamOfTheYear #CommunityImpact

What a day at the SVAI Summit and Awards on Friday! ✨ This time last year I went to the summit as I was taking my first steps into self-employment. This year I was delighted to be there as a finalist for Virtual Assistant Newcomer of the Year! The day went way too fast, with great sessions from a variety of speakers: 👗 Sinead Kelly spoke to us about personal brand and capsule wardrobes, and told us to "dress for the business you're building". That one has really stuck with me. I think I need help with my wardrobe! 🦆 Marina Branigan set us the LEGO duck challenge. Just like in life, no two ducks looked the same, even though we all started with the same bricks! Marina then helped us identify our strengths. A fantastic session that flew by too quickly! 💼 Samantha Kelly gave us some great LinkedIn and personal brand tips. It was so inspiring to see the successful business she has built, starting out as a single mother of two girls, like myself. 💬 In the afternoon, Cat & Ellie helped us answer the question "So, what do you do?" in plain, human words. Another invaluable session. 🔥 The final session really resonated with me, a fireside chat with Aisling Donnelly, Denise McGall and Sandra Thompson. Thank you all for sharing your stories so openly and honestly. One of the best parts of the day was the great chats with great people, such a friendly, open and welcoming group of women. SVAI has such a varied membership of online service providers, VAs, online business managers, bookkeepers and more. Community over competition is so evident in what Cat and Ellie have built. Huge congratulations to all the winners especially Sandra Duffy of Elevate Admin on winning Virtual Assistant Newcomer of the Year. So well deserved! It was an honour to be shortlisted alongside such talented people. Thank you to Cat & Ellie for bringing us all together. #svaisummit2026 #SVAI #CommunityOverCompetition #WomenInBusinessIreland

Less than one month to go until the SVAI Summit and Awards 2026! 🎉 For us, the Summit is one of the clearest expressions of what SVAI has always stood for: Community, connection and supporting Virtual Assistants and Online Service Providers to build strong, sustainable businesses. We both know what it is like to spend most of the working week at home behind a laptop, so there is something really special about stepping into a room filled with people who understand exactly what you do, the challenges that come with it and everything it takes to run your own business. The Summit gives you one full day to step away from client work, focus on your own business, learn from expert speakers and share ideas with others working in the same industry. As we recently shared, we are taking a break from hosting the Summit and Awards in 2027. We know it will be a while before we all get to do this again, so we want to make the most of this year’s event. If you have been thinking about coming along, this is the year to join us! We cannot wait to bring everyone together again on Friday 16th October. Full day, day only and evening only tickets are available now. Book through the link in our bio @virtualassistantsireland Cat & Ellie 📸 A little throwback to the two of us at the Summit in 2024 #irishbusiness #virtualassistant #virtualassistantireland #onlineserviceprovider #svaiawards2026

Lovely lovely news! 🥳 The @virtualassistantsireland awards are coming up in October and I've been nominated...twice! I'm a finalist in the Creative Service Provider category. ✍️ And for the Community Impact Award which I didn't enter but was nominated for by others in the industry. ✨️ This time last year my business was in a completely different space. I didn't feel deserving enough to put myself forward for anything. But the amount of work, hours, emails, phone calls, late nights, early mornings, results, clients, projects, wins and growth over the past 12 months has meant this year has been so different. I'm the most proud I've ever been of myself, my business and my clients. 🙌 Thank you to @thecatherinetobin and @theellieclogher for your endless work at making this industry stand out! Roll on October! 🥳 P.S. Voting for the Community Impact Award is open to the public if you'd like to vote. (Link in bio).

At Solicitors Growth Network, one of our long-term goals over the last number of years was to host an SGN Women in Law Forum – an opportunity to bring female solicitors from across Ireland for a day of learning, connection and honest conversations about what it really means to be a woman in the legal profession today. On Wednesday 10th June 2026, that goal became reality, as we hosted a truly wonderful day at the Clayton Hotel in Cork City.   You can read all about our day in our new blog. Have a read of it on our blog page - link in bio #womeninlawforum #womeninlaw #womeninlegalprofession

I recently joined Catherine and Ellie from @virtualassistantsireland on their Virtual Ventures podcast for their Behind the Laptop series, and this is a little snippet. We talked about starting my business at 44, leaving a corporate career behind, finding those first clients, building a team, and why I didn’t let fear make the decision for me. Thank you to @thecatherinetobin and @theellieclogher for having me. The full episode is out now on YouTube or your favourite podcast platform. #onlinebusinessmanager #virtualassistant #irishbusiness
