Snap a photo at the Zion sign at the south entrance before you enter the park.

Pa’rus Trail, the only dog-friendly trail in Zion, is a 3.5 mile path that follows along the Virgin River. There are great views of the Watchman, especially at sunset.

Don’t forget to buy bark ranger souvenirs at the visitor center!

There are two dog-friendly stops in Bryce Canyon. Inspiration Point is a viewpoint overlooking an amphitheater of hoodoos. You can also walk the 0.5 mile paved path between Sunset Point and Sunrise Point. Stop at the visitor center for your bark ranger souvenirs.

🍄‍🟫 Near Page, Arizona, explore the Toadstool Hoodoos of Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument.
⛽️ Behind the Shell gas station on Coppermine Rd sits Biidi the Arch. To get the iconic Instagram photo, the photographer has to stand with their back facing the wall looking out at the gas station and at 0.5 zoom.
🌊 The New Wave is a great permit-free and shorter alternative to The Wave.
🐴 Horseshoe Bend at sunrise had considerably less people, but sunset was beautiful—highly recommend.
🍗 Shoutout to @birdhouseaz—the fried chicken was 🤤

Canyonlands NP and Arches NP aren’t dog friendly, but we briefly stopped at a few viewpoints while the dogs waited in the car.

Corona Arch Trail is a great alternative dog-friendly trail if you want to see some iconic arches outside of the national park. It’s 3 miles out and back with a section of cables and a ladder that may make it difficult for larger dogs to cross.

Dogs are welcome on leash on all trails within Dead Horse Point State Park. Head to the overlook for stunning 2,000-foot views above the Colorado River. Pick up your bark ranger tag at the visitor center.

What surprised me the most about Moab was the food scene. It was quite good for a small town. Standouts included @thaibellamoab and the apple cider slush from @rileyorchards.moab (add caramel drizzle)!

The South Rim Trail is 13 miles long which offers plenty of space for your dog to explore and see many angles o

🍃I used to plan trips like a scavenger hunt — hit every spot, check every box, come home needing a vacation from the vacation.

This time? One day in Sedona. Slowly. No itinerary racing me from stop to stop.

Swipe through and spend the day with me 🍃 red rocks, no rushing, and a lot of just... being there.

Consider this your permission to skip the checklist on your next trip too. 🌿

Save this for your next low-key Sedona weekend 🤎

📍 ~2 mi south of Sedona on 179, small pull-off on the right. Park and walk west. Parking fits only a few cars, so go early 🌅

📍 Tlaquepaque tip: Grab a Thai Iced Tea at The Chai Spot (so good!) ☕ Pick up a custom reusable candle at Sedona Candle Gallery 🕯️ Then slow down at Vue Gallery, a relaxed space with bronze, metal, and wind sculptures, plus paintings and jewelry

📍 Parking tip: Mescal Trailhead lot on Long Canyon Rd 🚗 Trail starts across the street. Everyone says go early, but we showed up at 4:30pm to an empty lot 🌅 Lot full? Free Sedona Shuttle runs Thurs–Sun 🚌

📍 Everyone says go early, but we hit the Mescal Trailhead at 4:30pm to an empty lot 🚗 and found only ~7 people at Devil’s Bridge 🙌 Tip: Start about 2 hours before sunset so you’re not hiking back in the dark 🌄

Okay, this is still a henna post (just scroll to the end ;)) but hear this…

On a recent trip to AZ, I came across a true cultural haven: @thechaispot. For those of us who have spent years away from Pakistan, it offers an evocative retreat for the soul. The chai is masterfully infused with rich, aromatic spices—a fragrance so potent and nostalgic it gently awakens the senses the moment you step toward the 2nd floor. Inside, the decor is a masterclass in maximalism, full of bold textures, intricate patterns, and captivating prints at every turn. While the petite, colorful trinkets on display speak to the passion of the artisans who handcrafted them, the vibrant design of the takeaway cups pays a subtle homage to the creativity reflected in the iconic Pakistani truck art.
Moreover, this space operates with a sweet purpose. With a mission to uplift and empower, 50% of the profits go to fostering economic growth and providing educational resources for the women and children in Pakistan. It is a great reminder that heritage can be both celebrated and used to cultivate a better world.

About the henna:
The coffee/chai cup gracefully woven into the design is entirely intentional. For me, the timeless art of henna and the comfort of a warm, delicious beverage are inseparable ;)

Sedona might be the prettiest town in the country. Tlaquepaque (Sedona’s cute Mexican-style art village) is a must see bonus 🏜️🧡
