On a recent trip to AZ, I came across a true cultural haven: @thechaispot. For those of us who have spent years away from Pakistan, it offers an evocative retreat for the soul. Inside, the decor is a masterclass in maximalism, full of bold textures, intricate patterns, and captivating prints at every turn. While the petite, colorful trinkets on display speak to the passion of the artisans who handcrafted them, the vibrant design of the takeaway cups pays a subtle homage to the creativity reflected in the iconic Pakistani truck art.

A weekend in Flagstaff & Sedona 🖤

Last minute trip with family and friends.
I’m still sore from @flagstaffextreme

Jehan and I were slow as hell while people kept passing us 😭 Definitely need to work on my upper-body strength.

Brunch at Sosta, my favorite brunch spot in Flagstaff.

A chai from Steep, where the barista surprised me with a Palestine flag on my chai cup 🇵🇸

Then Sedona
Our favorite trail, West Fork.
And of course our favorite chai spot, @thechaispot , where I met the owner’s mother. We had a beautiful conversation about Eid, Pakistan, and Palestine, and she drew the prettiest henna design on my hand.

Forever grateful for every person who said, “I love your bag,” complimented my kuffiyeh, or simply talked about Palestine with me.

Found a little piece of home in Flagstaff ❤️‍🔥🇵🇸
