During the pandemic(2020), I wanted to bring comfort and happiness to people, here’s how I did it via @the2ndadamstore ⁣

I reached out to customers who had shopped the Follow Jesus T-shirt one time or the other, asked for consent to share another customer with them who they were to checkup on and vice versa, they were to kindly put on their Follow Jesus T-shirts to do this and send in a screen recording, it was all gist and fun.⁣

Stumbling on this video again brought smiles to my face, thought to share and inspire.💛⁣

On being 25

I have never been big on birthdays. It is probably why I don’t understand what people term ‘milestone birthdays’. What is so special about 50 that is not special about 49? Why 25 and not 26? Why 16 and not 15? It seemed arbitrary to me.
.

Yes, I am always grateful for life and my experiences but never a huge fan of the fanfare. However, a friend said something to me recently.
.

She got me to realise that it is not really about the age itself. It is how that particular moment you are celebrating this ‘milestone birthday’ is a culmination of so many other special moments- experiences that you both cried over and laughed about, successes and disappointments you learned from, hope that you have for the future and so on.
.

So, as I clock 25, I am filled with gratitude. I am taking stock of each moment (at least the ones I remember) that has brought me to this moment. I am excited for the future and at the same anxious because I know I am standing at a precipice and this is not even an age thing. It is about this season of my life and all that God is leading me through.

This is Angie 2.5 who is cautiously excited.

Every year, we organize Career Insights for our students to visit organizations that embody their interests so they can get a firsthand feel of what working in those industries entail.
