BURNING WOMAN - Open Stage & Y2K New Years From the 80s… we time traveled into the 90s and all the way to New Year’s Eve 1999. Remember Y2K when we thought the world would end? So we partied like it might! In the lead up to the festivities there were workshops to activate your voice, and tap into your intuitive power and there were beautiful offerings at the healing hub. On our final night, as the woman burnt, we released what no longer serves us and claimed our dreams. Then we celebrated the talent at the Open Stage before making the most of the dance floor until the count down at midnight. At our closing circle, it was clear something had been activated. Through tears and laughter, people spoke about homecoming. Belonging. Healing. Feeling closer to each other. Owning their uniqueness and quirks. And having permission to play and express parts of themselves they hadn’t realised they’d been missing. What began as an intuitive download had become real. And what began with 40 of my friends now feels ready to be shared with more people. BURNING WOMAN - Footage from my 40th 80’s Kids Birthday Party & Drive In Movies We opened the event on my 40th birthday, and shimmied back in time to the 80’s to connect with our inner children. Dressups, lucky dips, nostalgic toys and lollies in the pass the parcel. I was even honoured with two songs written about me. 🥺And gifted money for a puppy. 🥰🙈 Just like at Burning Man there was so much creativity and colour. There was a workshop or experience on every hour, the most delicious food (a lot of my childhood faves made by my mum), deep inspiring conversations and random, hilarious surprises. I had a lot of fun chauffeuring people in the fire-arri to the Drive in Movies where we watched hilarious improvised infomercials and Ed talks (anything ending in ed!) before Clare interviewed me about my vulnerable journey with my TEDx talk. Out of all the events I’ve ever hosted this was the most magical🥺. Photos can never do it justice but here is a highlight reel from my 40th & Burning Woman activation, with video footage to come soon. ✨ 1. Oz building the foundation of the Burning Woman that we dressed each day and attached notes of what we were calling in & releasing, which we burnt at the closing ceremony 2. The mandala that Larrnie & I cocreated 3. The glamping tents for tea ceremonies & the Healing Hub & where some guests slept 4. Celebrating my incredible Mum, for giving birth to me, in the front of the car years ago 5. Some of the crew dressed for the 80s kids birthday party festivities 6. The cacao opening ceremony with me sharing my 8 year journey of Burning Man (also celebrating 40 years this year!) to birthing Burning Woman 7. The traditional birthday cake ceremony with Spark and the delicious Desert of Dreams cake I designed 8. Clare facilitating a “Who knows Carly better?” game show 9. It’s kinda chic when you slay shame, write a memoir and live a life that is true to you 💋 I planned to have a book launch in both Melbourne and Gold Coast. However every time I went to publish the ticket link for the GC event my body stopped me. I realised over time I didn’t want to host a second launch but celebrate with an intimate group of friends. I then felt deeper into my truth and realised I wanted to do a range of things I love to celebrate. I wanted to facilitate a workshop, make fun content, share stories from the book and perform some songs. I also wanted the intimacy so I had time to chat to everyone. A very special part was when we all sat in a circle and shared shames that were blocking us from our full expression. @oz11 made us a beautiful home cooked dinner and the night ended with a singalong and @thechocolatepath taking us through a beautiful chocolate ceremony. This experience will stay in my heart forever 💕 Thank you to @joshhalethrive and @christiaanramsey for playing alongside me. Thank you to @itspennymichelle for the magical event space. So grateful for this beautiful community ❤️ Last weekend I had a belated birthday gathering with the epic humans pictured here (plus those that had left by the time I actually remembered to take a group pic). By the end I was feeling so loved up and it got me thinking about how lucky I am to have so many incredible people in my life! While I’m lucky to have had lots of amazing friendships and connections throughout the various stages of my life I’ve also been through some pretty hard friendship break-ups, ghostings and transition periods between friendship groups as I changed along the way. This isn’t uncommon as we walk the path of personal development, healing and/or spirituality. It’s actually quite normal that as we change, people around us no longer align in the way they once did. Not because they’re bad people, but because our interests and values become different. At times this can feel quite lonely or challenging. I went through a particularly hard time with connection 5 years ago when I chose not to participate in the biggest human experiment of all time and most of my friends chose to stop talking to me or refused to see me anymore. Even though that really hurt, I’m so grateful for the few people that did stick around and that it created space for more aligned connections to come in. And now, here I am with so many beautiful people in my life and a handful of close soul family 🥰 In more recent years I’ve desired to build more of a ‘village’ around us and I’m grateful that @theryanmagic and I are in the process of doing that now. This doesn’t happen without effort though, it takes time, commitment, reciprocity and patience. Grateful that we’ve been planting the seeds and are already seeing the fruits of our labour. And so grateful for modalities like Authentic Relating that have been an absolute game changer for my communication and ability to connect deeply with others. Already excited for the next gathering when we return from our upcoming travels 😍

Ticket sales end TONIGHT This Saturday Pu$$y Palace is running its first Lingerie Lunch and we are SO excited. This is a self love event - it’s not about impressing someone, it’s about YOU. When was the last time you got dressed up just for you, got out of the shower and adorned yourself in body butter, self praise, a slow excited (and nervous) dressing of how you desire to be seen. Saturday we gather in a beautiful Toorak home for a decadent feast and the safety of sisterhood @esther_emilyrose has put together the most beautiful menu for us im already salivating! This event is personally huge for me too, it’s the beginning of me stepping away from monthly Pu$$y Palaces and into fewer, deeper, more special gatherings. The lunch is this Saturday 11th. 11-4pm. Date My Mate 😆 On Friday evening I attended an event where people pitch their single friends with a PowerPoint presentation. Now my friend Dani Snow aka @thechocolatepath has no problems getting a date, but it was fun to share what I love about her and give her a friendly roast 😆 Huge shout out to @nattyrozen_ and @ranetha.perera for their first event together. It’s a once in a lifetime moment launching a memoir 😭 I cannot thank enough everyone who came on the night and to those who purchased the book helping me become a #1 best selling author on Amazon. Now I’ve rested, I would love to hear any reflections from the launch or if you have dived into the book 💃 So many collaborators to thank. Thank you @itspennymichelle for flying from GC and welcoming me onto the stage. @andisnelling for your heart felt reflections about the book and facilitating a Q and A. Thank you to @carlyfaragher who also flew down from GC and bedazzled us with kimonos and her intuitive brand styling. @nattyrozen_ who is always supporting my events with an epic platter with brownies to die for and @thechocolatepath for gifting us the best chocolate cake in the world. So blessed to have the genius on the keys @suzykeys1 play with me while reading chapters from the book. A huge shout out to the venue @secondstorystudios who helped bring the stage to life. The man with the bun @oz11 who is forever supporting me with all my creative endeavours and of course my muse, my mum who inspires me everyday to keep our legacy alive. And finally the @inspirationalbookwriters who have worked behind the scenes to get this baby out into the world.
