Itโ€™s been a journeyโ€ฆ๐ŸฆŒ๐Ÿซ๐ŸŒฒ Looking back, I can finally see how every step on my journey was guiding me to The Chocolate Path โ€” a space to express all of me. For years, I explored so many parts of myself and the gifts I had to share: health coaching, food blogging, nannying, having a protein ball business, having a YouTube channel, writing cookbooks, building websites, creating food products, intuitive coaching, running cacao ceremonies, styling and singing. Each experience held a gift โ€” a part of me waiting to be seen, loved, and expressed so I could fulfill my purpose! For a long time, I struggled with follow-through. Iโ€™d get excited, create, and then stop sharing my gifts. I thought something was wrong with me. I recently realised that one of the reasons I struggled is because each project I did only expressed just part of me, not all of me. My soul was waiting for a way to express everything I am โ€” and over the last three years, Iโ€™ve gone deep within myself to discover how to integrate it all into one brand. And now, with The Chocolate Path, Iโ€™ve intentionally created a space where every part of me comes together: The healthy chocolate maker, the stylist & product creator, the star, the nurturer, the speaker, the singer, the dreamer, the brand builder & the healer. Everything Iโ€™ve done, every gift Iโ€™ve discovered along the way, has led me here. As Steve Jobs said, โ€œYou canโ€™t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backward.โ€ And looking back now, it all makes sense. As I look back, I can see how everything Iโ€™ve done up until now has led me to this moment, and Iโ€™m now perfectly positioned to share all of the gifts Iโ€™ve discovered from my journey in this brand. Iโ€™m excited to see where the dots continue to take meโ€ฆ towards the chocolate store I go! Today, as we celebrate Christmas (my favorite day of the year!), I wanted to share the magic and memories weโ€™ve created this year in our magical forest home ๐ŸฆŒ๐ŸŽ„๐Ÿซ Coming back and living in the forest where I grew up has helped me reconnect so deeply with my childhood memoriesโ€”and with my purpose. It was here that I birthed The Chocolate Path, crafted my very first chocolate recipe, lived alongside deer in my garden, and hosted my first cacao and singing sister circles. Itโ€™s a place that truly grounded me in my inner child, my purpose, and my dreams. As we packed up at the start of December and said goodbye to this beautiful home, I intuitively knew it was time to leaveโ€”carrying all the magic I discovered in the forest with me, ready to share it with the world โœจ Iโ€™m so excited for this next chapter and the birth of The Chocolate Path out into the world! I canโ€™t wait to share in my next post the magic that unfolded just two days before I left!! It took me almost six months to come up with my chocolate recipeโ€ฆ so let me tell you the story! ๐ŸฆŒ๐Ÿซ๐ŸŽ„ Let me start with some context: the key to amazing chocolate isnโ€™t just the perfect balance of ingredients โ€” itโ€™s the quality of those ingredients, especially the cacao paste, because thatโ€™s what gives chocolate its unique flavour. For months, I tested different ratios of cacao paste, maple sugar, cacao butter, and milk powder until I found the perfect balance. But something was still missingโ€ฆ the flavour just wasnโ€™t quite right. I tried multiple cacao suppliers, struggling to find a cacao taste and quality that I absolutely loved. I kept going, kept searchingโ€ฆ and then one day, I walked into my local health food store, Wholefood Merchants, and there was a man at the front offering tastings of his chocolate brand. I tried it โ€” and the flavour was incredible. We started chatting and ended up having the most amazing conversation about conscious chocolate-making and the cacao industry. I told him I was starting a chocolate business and asked if I could try a sample of his ceremonial cacao in my recipeโ€ฆ I wanted to see if this was the one. He said yes โ€” and when I used his ceremonial cacao paste in my recipe, it was PERFECT. Not only was it the highest-quality ceremonial Chuncho cacao from Peru, but it tasted absolutely amazing. I felt so grateful for the steps that led me to him, and so thankful that I manifested such an incredible cacao supplier with so much heart โ€” who has now become a friend! So whatโ€™s the moral of the story? Just keep taking steps down the chocolate path โ€” hold the end result of what youโ€™re manifesting in your heart, and eventually youโ€™ll reach the step that becomes that dream. One day, one of those steps will be my magical chocolate storeโ€ฆ but for now, I wanted to share the manifestations happening along the way. Dani Snow xx by @thechocolatepath
