There’s real value in being in the RIGHT room full of women. 💗

Not because everyone thinks the same, works in the same industry, or has taken the same path.

Because every woman in that room brings her own expertise, experiences, connections, and opportunities with her.

One conversation can become a referral.
An introduction can become a client.
A shared challenge can lead to a solution.
And someone you meet today might open a door six months from now.

That’s why LeadHERboard is about connecting and building community with highly-qualified, upstanding women. The perfect partners in entrepreneurship!

We’re creating more opportunities for women in business to get in the room, get to know one another, and do business together.

Want a seat at the table? Join LeadHERboard. ✨

This little girl is me.
And this week, we’ve been thinking a lot about her.
About what she believed was possible. What she didn’t know yet. The women she would need along the way. And the kind of woman we hope she’d be proud to know that she became.
Today, we’re sharing seven extraordinary LeadHERboard women who went back and the little girls they once were.

We asked:
If you could sit beside that little girl for one minute, what would you tell her?
Their answers are funny, tender, wise and a reminder of something bigger.
Little girls need to see women doing extraordinary things.
But they also need to see women standing up for one another.
Women opening doors.
Making introductions.
Speaking up.
Saying her name in the room.
Making sure another woman doesn’t have to stand alone.
Because becoming a strong woman is only part of the story.

What we do with that strength matters.
These are just seven of our LeadHERboard powerhouses. We are proud of what they’ve accomplished and just as proud of the women they champion around them every day.

Why are we sharing this? Because 92% of girls feel more confident about their future after hearing real stories of female role models. I encourage the incredible women in my network to join the Inspiring Girls International campaign, led by Miriam Durantez, to remind the women and little girls in our lives that we believe in them! Together, let’s create a world where they know they can achieve anything.

🙌🏻 Copy the last paragraph October 5-11, tag @LeadHERboard + and share your story to inspire the next generation of leaders. Let’s make sure every girl knows her potential is limitless.

Enjoy meeting the little girls behind seven remarkable women.
Then find your childhood photo.
What would you tell her now? 💗

She dreamed it. She built it. She belongs here. 💗

October is National Women’s Small Business Month, and we know a lot of extraordinary women worth celebrating.

The founders who bet on an idea before anyone else could see it.

The business owners making payroll, making decisions, making mistakes and showing up again tomorrow.

The innovators solving problems differently.

The leaders building businesses, creating jobs and opening doors behind them.
We see you.

But this month, let’s do more than celebrate.
Let’s choose HER.
Share HER name.
Refer HER work.
Hire HER.
Invest in HER.
Introduce HER.
And let’s say HER name in rooms where opportunities happen.
Because supporting women in business shouldn’t just be something we talk about in October.
It should be something we do.
So let’s start right here. 👇
Tag a woman in business more people should know and tell us WHY we should know HER.
Then take it one step further:
See someone tagged who impresses you? Follow her.
Visit her business.
Make the introduction.
One introduction can become a client.
One referral can become an opportunity.

One “You need to know this woman” can open an entirely new door.
Extraordinary women deserve to be known.
Let’s make sure they are. 💗

Hand-poured in Oklahoma with coconut apricot crème wax, a wooden wick and premium, clean fragrance oils.

Light it. Pour the wine. Escape to Tuscany.

In 2017 I hit a rough patch, personally and professionally. I hired a coach, Carla, who introduced me to the Energy Leadership Index Assessment (ELI). Over a few months, she helped me step out of overwhelm and back into joy.

When something works, you want to share it. That’s why I became a certified coach, so I could offer the ELI to others who feel stuck.

The Energy Leadership Index™ isn’t a personality test. It reveals the attitudes and thinking patterns shaping your relationships, your work, and your daily life. Unlike many assessments, the ELI is an attitudinal assessment, meaning it measures something that can actually change, so you walk away with more than self-knowledge.

Today it was special to bring this training to local leaders in my city. Thank you to @the_mindher_coach for inviting me to share at my beloved coworking space @thecollectiveok.

This is success to me: using my gift of communication to share valuable information with women who are eager to grow.

My prayer is that no woman feels she has to stay stuck, and that she’s empowered to live in ways that honor God, others, and herself.

Light Hearts, Anchored Souls.

This week I almost ran out of battery on a Tesla in the middle of an Oklahoma turnpike. In jeans. In heels. In 98-degree heat.

And somewhere on that drive, sweating through every layer I had on with the windows cracked less than half an inch, three leadership lessons showed up that I had to share.

Swipe through. They’re worth the read if I do say so myself! 😉

And when you get to the last slide, actually do it.

Check your energy bank. Figure out what you’ve been running at full capacity without ever looking at the charge level. Then go plug in this weekend.

You lead differently when you’re fully charged.

Drop a 🔋 in the comments if this hit home, or send this to someone who needs to go plug in this weekend.

Your world expands when your thinking does. Eight years ago, I joined @thecollectiveok as a member.

I never imagined I’d one day own it.

Looking back, the biggest shifts in my life didn’t come from having a perfect plan. They came from seeing bigger possibilities than the ones in front of me.

Perspective changes everything.

What are you ready to think bigger about this summer?

Brb changing my bio to AWARD WINNING wherever I can! 🥹 I pray I leave every audience lighter than I found them - whether you read my romcom books or come to a live show or bump into me on the street. (Though if I have my six kids with me at the time all bets are off! 🤣) Thank you to my oklahomies for this! Especially my cowerkers at @thecollectiveok #okc #edmondok #oklahoma
