Complacency is creative bankruptcy.

The moment you convince yourself you’ve figured it out, you’ve already started falling behind.

New lens.
New body.
New lighting setup.
New perspective.
New problem to solve.

That’s the beauty of it.

There are endless ways to capture the same moment, and I’m constantly reminded how much there still is to learn.

It’s easy to find a workflow that works and stay there.

Same settings.
Same angles.
Same results.

But growth rarely lives inside your comfort zone.

The creators producing work that stands out are willing to experiment, challenge their process, and see things a little differently.

Not every idea works.
That’s part of it.

But every once in a while you stumble onto something you never would have found if you played it safe.

The status quo is crowded.

Real magic happens when you’re willing to step outside of it.

Some trips come and go.

Others turn into the stories you’ll be telling for years.

The golf was great, but what made this one special was everything that happened in between. The laughs around the pool, late nights with good people, morning coffee before the round, and a place that somehow made everyone feel right at home from day one.

Lola’s Cabana wasn’t just where we stayed. It became part of the experience.

Already looking forward to the next one. ⛳️☀️

DAY 2 OF “Forgive Me For I Have Sinned”

“A guilt-ridden mother confesses to striking her
increasingly disturbed daughter, prompting a priest to intervene, only to uncover a terrifying truth neither of them is prepared to face.”

This project continued to grow into something bigger than I ever imagined and seeing everything come together on set was honestly surreal. Huge special thanks to my mom for helping me build the entire confession set, setting up the flickering lights, and transforming the house into the world of this film. None of it would’ve looked the way it did without her creativity and support.

Also shoutout to the “cavalry” (@soup_line, @stovon.a12 & @kris.sardi ) for showing up and helping us move fast as grips and extra hands on set when we needed it most.

I’m beyond grateful for everyone in my crew who helped bring this story to life, as well as my incredible cast: @theconnectedactor as Father Garcia, @cristina.de.fatima as Laura, and @paulinamachado__ as Sofia.

Special thanks to the @mdc_sedt !!

Stay tuned :)
