This is my little reintroduction incase you’re new around here and looking to find out more about the girl in the shiny jumpsuits!

Lately I’ve struggled to show up on here because I’d forgotten who the hell I am. I’ve had to have a word with myself, and the people I admire (tagged in this post have really helped)🔥

16 years ago I left my village in Wales for Manchester and built a life I’m proud of. First in my family to get a degree, and I’ve never stopped chasing my dreams.

17 years performing professionally, all over the world, for thousands of couples and clients in iconic venues:

Throw me on any stage, put me in any room, and I will always deliver.

But I still compare myself. I’m hard on myself, and I graft my butt off every day to stay creative and relevant, investing in equipment, knowledge and marketing to be the best for every person who adds me to their budget.

I’m undiagnosed ADHD, not a word I throw around lightly. It cripples me daily, but it also fires me up to do all the weird and wonderful things that make me the performer I am. An absolute perfectionist who won’t miss a trick or a detail.

From intimate celebrations to luxury events and wholesome weddings full of fun, love and lots of glamour, my ideal soundtrack is old soul, R&B, house and anything disco! 🪩

A little reminder to put yourself in the rooms that scare you a little 🤍

When I started Made by Mavé, I definitely didn’t imagine I’d be walking into rooms full of other business owners and creatives…but here we are 🥹

There’s something so motivating about being surrounded by people with ideas, goals, big plans and the same drive to build something of their own

I left feeling inspired, motivated and even more excited for what I’m building

Sometimes one conversation, one connection or one room can completely change the way you see what’s possible for yourself

Last night I swapped curling wands and wedding timelines for notebooks and social media strategy at Social Success Live.

It’s easy to think that running a business is all about what happens behind the chair, but the truth is there’s so much more to it.

The hair you see on my page is only possible because of the hours spent learning, planning, creating content, building relationships and constantly looking for ways to improve.

One thing I took away from last night is that nobody grows by standing still.

So whilst wedding hair will always be my first love, I’m committed to learning, growing and making Hair Up by Hanna the very best it can be, including the growth of @hanna.ever.after ✨

A huge thank you to @thecontenthun for bringing so many incredible women together in one room. I left with lots of ideas, lots of motivation and a notes app that’s now completely out of control. 😂
