this isn’t shade at full time creators. it’s just a completely different job. content is literally mine, and even i’m squeezing it in around clients, so I get it 🤷🏼‍♀️

⚠️ Trigger warning: fire

Yesterday, only a few hours after I’d left from filming in the barn for one of my clients @mynydd_mostyn_dairy , I got a phone call to say there’d been a fire. The shed I’d literally been standing in a few hours prior was up in flames. It took 36 firefighters nearly 7 hours to tackle the blaze..

If you’ve never seen how a dairy farm runs, let me tell you. They’re up at 5am milking. They milk twice a day, every single day. 365 days a year. No days off, no bank holidays, no lie-ins. Christmas Day, they’re out there.. working. That farm never stops, and neither do they. They are, hand on heart, the most hard-working and kindest family I have ever come across.

Nobody deserves this, but they really, really don’t. And they aren’t just clients to me, they are friends, and they have never ever made me feel like anything other than part of their family.

Thankfully, everyone is safe and the animals are okay and the truth is ..It could have been so much worse. The milkshake side of the business is still open and they are trying their hardest to run it as normal. But that barn was such a huge part of how the farm operate and runs - they’ve got so much to face in the days, weeks and months ahead to keep the farm running smoothly. Especially as we approach winter and what is the most challenging months for any farming family.

So I’m asking you, my lovely IG community, to please support this business however you can. If you’re local to North Wales, please go and see them. Buy a milkshake, buy ice cream (they make the best ice cream I’ve ever had and I promise you will not be disappointed). If you’re not local, follow their page, share their posts, leave a comment. Every little bit of support means more than you know.

Telling people posting content is hard because they’re “lazy” isn’t it. Hard jobs exist, but someone else’s hard being real doesn’t make yours any less valid.
