Túath Thursday | A night to remember! We were absolutely delighted to be invited to Bill Aherne’s to help select the final cask to take pride of place behind the bar. We’re proud to work alongside Willie and the team on their glassware, and it’s incredible to see the hard work, passion and attention to detail that has gone into this new venue. @billahernesoconnellbridge is well on its way to becoming another Dublin institution! 🍀 But the big winner of the night? A huge congratulations to Gavin at @gardencountydistillery , who took home the title of Best Pick of the Night and earned the honour of having their cask selected as the final one behind the bar. 🥃👏 If you get the chance, make sure to pop in, soak up the atmosphere and see this brilliant new spot for yourself. You won’t be disappointed! #tuaththursday #billahernes #gardencountydistillery #irishwhiskey

There’s nothing we hate more than a brand trying to insert themselves into the latest story of the day with absolutely no relevance. Luckily for us, a golf course is really just a very well-manicured field. Perfect. Shout to @b_redden72 for the photo 👌

@thecowmanshow says this should be drunk in a carpark. We couldn't find one up on High Seat but we drank it anyway. @redactedbottlers_ @boanndistillery 5Years Old Forêt De Tronçais Cask. #IrishWhiskey #Whiskey #LakeDistrict

We’re delighted to be partnering with the wonderful folk from Tuath Glass for the official Navan Whiskey Festival 2026 glass. Who’d have thought this time last year, when we were hastily putting together our first festival, that we’d already be at the stage to even have our own logo, never mind our own official glass! It blows our mind. Massive thanks to David and Rosi for all their help and support, they’re just great people who love Irish whiskey as much as we do- and it helps that they’re incredibly easy to work with. We can’t wait till our copitas land with our logo engraved on them. Now for the hard part- convincing our guests not to steal them at the events😂😂😂 Navan Whiskey Festival October 15-18 2026 #NWFest26

The final whiskey comes with a difference. Guests will be treated to an exclusive preview of Redacted’s top-secret upcoming release, still under wraps and not yet available to the public. We can’t tell you where it comes from. We can’t tell you exactly what it is. But we can tell you that you’ll be among the very first people in the world to taste it. Naggins are designed for travel, so there's nothing we love more than seeing our bottles land as far away from Ireland as possible. This one from the garden route in Southern South Africa, courtesy of @kresan_naidu Pack em in your suitcase and get out there into the world. That's what they're for!

Stories & Sips Live with Barry Chandler. 6pm, Thursday October 15th. There’s no better way to kick off Navan Whiskey Festival 2026 than with one of our absolute favourite people. We’re delighted to welcome Barry Chandler to the legendary Bermingham’s Bar for an evening of stories and sips. Widely regarded as one of the world’s most respected independent voices in Irish whiskey, Barry has carved out a remarkable career through his passion, knowledge and infectious enthusiasm for the spirit. Over the course of 90 minutes, Barry will take us on his extraordinary journey- from pouring tea for little old ladies in Cobh to becoming one of the very few people on the planet trusted to open and pour the legendary Midleton Silent Chapter bottlings. Along the way, he’ll share the characters he’s met, the unforgettable drams he’s tasted, and the moments that have made him one of Irish whiskey’s best-loved storytellers. As if the stories weren’t enough, Barry will also be bringing along a selection of very special Stories & Sips whiskey releases. Guests will have the opportunity to taste a number of these exceptional bottlings while hearing the stories behind them—a rare chance to experience some truly outstanding whiskeys in the company of the man who selected them. Whether you’re a seasoned whiskey enthusiast or simply love a great yarn, expect an evening packed with humour, insight, behind-the-scenes tales and the chance to put your own questions to Barry. So pull up a chair, & settle in for a cracking start to Navan Whiskey Festival 2026. Watch this space for ticketing release dates… #navanwhiskeyfestival #barrychandler #whiskey #irishwhiskey

What a dram that was💥(thankfully a bought 2😉) . . The guys from @redactedbottlers_ with another amazing release! . 5 year old Boann Single Pot Still aged in a Foret de Troncais French Oak Cask. ABV-42.5% On the nose, for me, poached apple/pear, butter dark chocolate/coffee and a light caramel sweetness. The palate is just bursting with flavour! A lovely spice with more stewed apple notes coming through and the finish is smashing!! The tannins coming from the oak cask really shines through! Amazing!! . .
