Indonesian comfort food hiding inside this cute little café?! 🇮🇩🤍

We tried a few dishes at The Cozy Vine and honestly, everything was so comforting!

🍲 Bubur Ayam Special — warm chicken congee topped with shredded chicken, fried giblet, egg skewer, crispy fried cruller, shallots & crackers.

🍜 Bakmie Ayam — egg noodles with diced chicken, choysum & crispy wonton, served with clear soup and chilli.

🍳 Special Fried Rice — Indonesian fried rice with chicken, egg, cabbage & shallots, topped with a sunny-side-up, crackers & pickled cucumber.

🍗 Indo Grilled Chicken — sweet savoury grilled chicken with steamed rice, fried shallots, sambal & mini salad.

🥤 For drinks, we got Matcha Jazz, Coconut Matcha & Butterscotch Seasalt Latte — such a fun mix of flavours! 🥹

Everything was so comforting and we left VERY happily full 🤍

Rate the matcha a 9/10 and the drink a 7/10. My fault because I’m not a big sweet tooth and I ordered a pretty sweet drink. This just means I have to go back and try a classic matcha which I’m sure is going to slaaaaaay 🤤💚

I’ve been taking it a little easy with the matcha’s because I prefer mine cold, and I’ve been cheating on matcha with coffee this winter. But you’ll be seeing a lot more of me in winter @thecozyvine

prob the most authentic nasi goreng ive had in syd! so wokhei and flavourfullll🥹🫰 also the drinks are sooo yums and HUGE, especially love the iced butterscotch seasalt latte i literally inhaled that

their matcha is ceremonial grade and each drink they use 6g!! 🍵

• bakmie ayam (available from opening in early morning) ⭐️⭐️
• nasi goreng (available only fri, sat, sun from 10:30am) ⭐️⭐️
• wakey bakey - brekkie roll done well
• matcha jazz ⭐️ thicc creamy matcha w hint of jasmineee

The cosiest cafe in Sydney!

The owner @frezdiaries kindly invited us to her family-run cafe in Arncliffe to try out some of their menu and newly launched drinks

We were greeted with a warm and friendly atmosphere with the yummiest Western and Indonesian inspired dishes

And we’ve truly been dreaming about the Iced Butterscotch Seasalt drinks since our visit
