The Essence of Influencing. 🥂⚜️ 🌹

In a room full of top influencers, trendsetters, culture shifters, and power players, I had a moment.

Not the kind where you shrink.
The kind where you remember.

I wasn’t just in the room with greatness.
I was there because greatness recognizes greatness. Authenticity. Ambition.

For a long time, I’ve known how to see the light in everybody else. How to amplify it. Position it. Tell the story. Open the door.

But this season is different.

This season, I’m owning the fact that I am the story too.

The woman in the room.
The strategist behind the moves.
The voice with depth.
The presence with power.
The one who doesn’t have to announce herself loudly because her energy already entered first.

Essence week reminded me that influence is not just followers, access, or proximity.

It’s presence.
It’s authority.
It’s alignment.
It’s knowing who you are before anyone else validates it.

And I’m starting to believe it on a deeper level:

I’m HER.

I don’t have 100k+ followers. It’s quality over quantity around here.

💭 What if the only thing standing between you and the next level isn’t your strategy—but your subconscious beliefs?

As women who lead, build, and innovate, we often learn to perform at high levels while quietly carrying the weight of outdated narratives:

🔸 “I have to prove myself to be taken seriously.”
🔸 “If I slow down, I’ll lose momentum.”
🔸 “I’m not ready yet.”
🔸 “Who am I to lead this big?”

Sound familiar?

These aren’t harmless thoughts—they’re inherited scripts that keep even the most brilliant women playing small.

But here’s the truth: you don’t need to become someone else—you need to unlearn who you’re not.

Here are 4 steps to start reframing the beliefs that no longer serve the woman—and the leader—you’re becoming:

1️⃣ Recognize the stories you're telling yourself.
What are the quiet thoughts looping in the background? Where did they come from? Who do they serve?

2️⃣ Ask: Is this absolutely true?
Challenge your inner critic like you would a bad business partner. Question the thought. Interrupt the lie.

3️⃣ Rewrite the narrative using empowering, present-tense language.
Instead of “I don’t know if I’m ready,” say: “I’m built for this. I lead with clarity, courage, and conviction.”

4️⃣ Speak the new belief out loud—and guard your thoughts.
Your mind is a sacred space. What you let in, stays. What you speak, shapes. Make it intentional. Make it empowering.
