In my quest for acceptance, I've disappointed myself so many times. At this stage in my life's journey, I'm learning self-validation, compassion and love. I'm discovering my source for significance and importance is internal. I used to seek to have my needs for importance/significance met through:💫 Hollywood red carpets, VIP access to events, working with major companies or celebrities💫 The attention, time, validation and physical desire from relationships and sexual partners💫 The badge of honor for juggling as many responsibilities as possible and never saying no💫 Avoiding rejection and humiliation at all costs💫 Manipulation, people pleasing and martyrdom I'm deciding that I'm worthy just because I am. As my mentors remind me: I was born worthy and nothing has changed. I could never accomplish another thing, make another person happy, not make another dime or have another relationship ever in life....and it STILL wouldn't mean anything about how valuable I AM. I'm a child of the Most High, of Mother Earth. 🌎 Nothing and no one can take that from me, not even my own ego. Watch out world....the brokenhearted are rising up!
