Thanks for everyone who stopped by and listened to the Lunette story. Donating one period cup for every sold to help eradicating Period Poverty. It is everywhere, and 500 million girls/women around the world stand without safe period care when they bleed every month. Many girls miss school and drop out. Then become pray for men, and early child marriage. The Cup is the solution. Can be used for 10 years and take a girl from her period debut to graduation and to be part of shaping the future. Women do not start wars…

📚 Better SRH education for our children than we got.

In the African context, sexual and reproductive health info is too often passed on through fear: incomplete, sometimes inaccurate. Case in point: after menarche, it can take 1 to 3 years for a cycle to stabilise. Telling a girl she’s pregnant just because her period is late, sexually active or not, is wrong, and it causes real, unnecessary trauma.

We’re proud to work with an organisation committed to linking community experience with research, and pushing for a better transgenerational transfer of SRH knowledge.

Diese Frage hören wir bei unseren Info-Sessions unglaublich oft – von Frauen UND Männern! In unserem Workshop für Lehrkräfte räumen wir mit genau diesem Mythos auf. Die kurze Antwort: Nein, anatomisch ist das völlig unmöglich! Der Gebärmutterhals (Cervix) sorgt dafür, dass die Cup genau da bleibt, wo sie hingehört.
Echte Nachhaltigkeit steht bei uns im Fokus, denn nur wenn wir das gesamte Lehrkollegium einbeziehen, schaffen wir lokales Wissen und langfristige Unabhängigkeit. Wenn die ganze Community den Ansatz versteht, brechen wir Tabus dauerhaft und die Mädchen können ihre Cups jahrelang sicher nutzen, ohne jemals wieder eine Schulstunde zu verpassen!

This is one of the most common questions we get during our workshops—from both women AND men! In our training sessions for school teachers, we are busting this exact myth. The quick answer: No, anatomically it’s completely impossible! The cervix acts as a natural barrier, keeping the cup exactly where it needs to be.
True sustainability is our core mission. By training the entire teaching staff, we build local capacity and ensure long-term independence. When the whole community understands this sustainable approach, we break taboos for good, empowering girls to use their cups safely for years and never miss a day of school again! #imaraafrica #

What a wonderful time we had in Arusha!🤟

The main goal for our trip was to train FSE’s sign language interpreters in Sexual & Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) and menstrual hygiene, so that they can share the knowledge further to the students with disabilities in the form of an afternoon club.

The training exceeded our expectations!🙌 The openness and willingness of these interpreter-teachers to engage with sensitive topics truly surprised us. Let the video speak for itself.

Tomorrow we will open our annual Christmas Campaign: the web store where you can now also support directly this ongoing SRHR-project!❤️
