"The Beatles so beautifully reminded us "All You Need Is Love." And while I think there are probably a few other things you need- patience, communication, laughter, compromise, and occasionally someone wiling to admit that the other person was right- love is certainly a pretty great place to start."

Wendy and Jeff ❤️🌊 9/19/26

An intimate ceremony on the beach, surrounded by their favorite people and the most beautiful setting to celebrate their love. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day to celebrate these two. Wishing Wendy and Jeff a life full of adventure, laughter, and so much happiness!

What if, for one day, you didn’t have to take care of anyone else?

No lunches to pack.
No appointments to make.
No one asking what they need.
No rushing through your own reflection before moving on to the next thing.

Just you.

You arrive, and someone takes care of you.

Hair and makeup.
A beautiful wardrobe.
Music, conversation, laughter.
Someone whose only job that day is to make you feel incredible.

And then you step in front of my camera.

Not to hide the things you wish were different.
Not because you’ve finally lost the weight.
Not because you’ve “earned” it.
Not because you have more money next year.
Not because someday, when life slows down, you’ll finally have time.

Now.

Because this woman—the one who has spent years showing up for everyone else—is already worthy of being celebrated.

And I want you to see what I see.

Your strength.
Your softness.
Your confidence.
Your beauty.
The woman you’ve become through all of it.

The ultimate gift isn’t the day of hair and makeup.

It isn’t even the photographs.

It’s the moment you see those images and think:

“Oh my God. That’s me.”

And realize that you’ve been seeing yourself through a much harsher lens than the rest of the world ever did.

These aren’t photographs for someday.

They’re a reminder for right now:

You matter.
You are beautiful.
You are worth taking care of.
And you don’t have to wait for a better version of yourself to be worthy of being seen.

Maybe it’s time to stop putting yourself last. #allysonmagdaphotography #40over40 #womenhelpingwomen #womenover35

Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time. We are the ones we've been waiting for. We are the change that we seek."Change is an opportunity. The change caused by others provides an opportunity for you. Change tinkered by you will offer the opportunity to others" — Suresh Prabhu
