What a wonderful day at @gardenkimbourne’s Open House Eco Fair! 🌿 Thorncliffe Park Urban Farmers was delighted to host a booth and connect with community members, gardeners, families, and neighbours who share a passion for growing food, building community, and creating greener urban spaces. Visitors had the opportunity to learn about TPUF’s programs, our community gardens, youth leadership initiatives, and the impact of urban agriculture in Thorncliffe Park. We loved sharing stories, answering questions, and celebrating the power of community-led gardening together. A big thank you to the Garden At Kimbourne’s team for hosting this fantastic event and bringing people together to learn, connect, and grow. 💚 #ThorncliffeParkUrbanFarmers #TPUF #UrbanAgriculture #CommunityGardens #GardenAtKimbourne

Our Open House Eco Fair happening tomorrow from 11am-3pm at 200 Wolverleigh Blvd has been moved indoors into the church hall! It unfortunately looks like we might be in for some rain but we will have a couple tents set up outside for coverage and the BBQ will still be fired up! Come grab a bite and dip into the church hall to eat/check out what we have going on inside with our Eco Fair!

We are proud to be joined by @thedecompost, @leaf_org, @nfftt, @nourisheastend, and @thorncliffepark_urbanfarmers for a mini eco fair at our Open House event this Sunday, June 14 from 11am-3pm. They all do incredible community work to support urban agriculture, food justice, and ecological justice in the city, we are honoured to share space with them! Garden@Kimbourne is beyond excited for this Sunday. There will also be a BBQ (with veggie options), button-making, garden tours, kid's activities, and community painting (come help us paint one of our picnic benches). Rain or shine bring your family, bring your friends!
