🇫🇷 Après une longue pause due à la canicule qui a touché l’Europe et notamment l’Angleterre, l’eau de nos cours d’eau Londoniens s’est nettement rafraîchie et il est maintenant raisonnable de retourner traquer les brochets en milieux urbain!

🇬🇧 After a long break due to the heatwave that hit Europe and notably England, the water in our London rivers has cool down significantly, and it is now reasonable to head back out to hunt for pike in the city!

Golden hour, Golden bass !

Sunset often delivers…That in mind I decided to drive to one of these lakes that holds a special place in your heart, the kind of places that brings back memories of records fish and makes a fantastic location for a bit of top water… So there I came, rod in hand and armed with just a couple of stick baits, which all caught several decent size large mouth bass that evening.
It wasn’t a record this time but I shall return !

There’s plenty happening across KWAA waters this month!

The River Kent has been producing some excellent trout and sea trout, along with the occasional salmon, despite recent low water levels and warmer temperatures. Brilliant catches from @the_waterwhipper and @thedistrictangler — two talented local anglers with a strong understanding of the river and responsible fish care.

Please handle all fish carefully and avoid fishing when water temperatures become excessively warm.

📲 HELP PROTECT OUR RIVERS

The new LWFA Reporting App gives anglers a quick way to report pollution, poaching, illegal or closed-season fishing, fish damage and predation concerns. Every report supports conservation and enforcement work across our catchments.

🤝 RESPECT THE WATER

Give anglers already fishing a pool a fair chance. Wait your turn, use the traditional cast-and-step method, move steadily through the water and communicate courteously.

🏞️ KILLINGTON RESERVOIR

Killington continues to offer excellent coarse fishing on feeder and waggler tactics, with plenty of quieter water to explore in a beautiful Cumbrian setting.

📝 CATCH RETURNS

All Kent Season Ticket and Day Ticket anglers must submit a catch return, including a NIL return when no fish have been caught. Season Ticket returns must be received by 15 November.

🌿 HIMALAYAN BALSAM

Please report outbreaks and only tackle small areas before seed pods appear. Once plants are in seed, leave them undisturbed to avoid spreading them further.

A fantastic step forward for our rivers.
The new LWFA Reporting App allows anglers to quickly report concerns across the main rivers and tributaries of the Lune, Wyre, Kent and Leven, SW Lakes and Derwent NW catchments.
Using the app, anglers can report:
🚨 Environmental and illegal fishing incidents
Including pollution, poaching, closed season fishing or any other concerns.
🐟 Fish damage from fish-eating birds
Helping build evidence and understanding of predation pressure.
🦆Predation reports
Giving important information to help manage and protect our fisheries.
📍 The app uses geo location, giving an exact and instant location, and sends key information directly to the Environment Agency.

Discovering England, What a start of the season with a cracking fish !

It is never easy to discover a new stream, most waters belong to clubs or in private properties but sometimes you find public water often in bad state or very difficult to access but here’s all the reward, a beautiful and fat wild brown trout measuring 58cm that I wouldn’t have been able to reach without the precious help of my partner in crime @alextheangler_adventures - thanks bro!! 💪🏼🎣💯

The Westmorland Gazette featured our journey from a small idea to becoming one of the UK’s leading fishing brands. What started back in 2009 — while fishing in Central Park and struggling to find a quality travel rod — turned into designing our own.
