An incredible annual meeting last week in Las Vegas at the Association of Fraternity & Sorority Advisors meeting @1976afa

This experience strengthened my approach to supporting Fraternity & Sorority Life at Winston-Salem State University, from task force innovation and stakeholder engagement to healing-centered hazing prevention and culturally competent support for NPHC and culturally based organizations. One highlight was No More Meet the Greeks, which reimagined Fraternity and Sorority life education through intentional learning, transparency, and retention.

I’m energized and ready to apply these strategies to empower students, strengthen partnerships, and continue advancing our FSL community 🐏❤️

my favorite time of year — annual meeting time. forever thankful for the community i have found in AFA. our time of fellowship & professional development means so much to me as i continue to grow as a professional. a lot of first for my 3rd annual meeting:

• served as a connection captain to assist professionals attending their first annual meeting
• competed in the @beingplaid program design competition & placed second with my partner @essynceunderwood — a Pretty Devastating duo if you ask me. 🥈
• received my first 2 ‘because you believe’ stickers (thxs josh & hailey 🥹)

every year, the annual meeting refills my cup & challenges the way i think as an professional. excited to continue the work of enhancing the fraternity & sorority life experience one day, program, & workshop at a time. Chicago, you’re up next! same time next year? #TheNEWHigherEd #LexTheHESAKid

Quack, quack from LONDON, mates!🇬🇧🦆
You’re favorite lil ducky spun around on the London Eye🎡 (wheee!), waddled through Chinatown (the smells—chef’s quack), and YES—I finally tried fish & chips. Verdict? Beak-lickin’ good.😋
Big news: I’ve got a new travel buddy—everyone say hello to Brewski! 😎We’re diving headfirst into all things London. Stick around for the waddles and wonders.
Giggles: Why don’t they serve tea at the British Museum?
Because the Boston part still stings!🤭. #DuckOnTheGo #BrewskiJoinsTheFlock #QuackInTheCity #LondonFlaps #duckdiaries #TeaSpilled

🦆✨ It’s your favorite traveling rubber duck, Newton, and I just landed at Arkansas State University! 🏫 🌟 Founded in 1909, AState has continued to service its community within the state and abroad✈️Today, I waddled through the Carl R. Reng Student Union and meet so many kind friends that I can barely tag them all🐥😀
I stopped by the Title IX table to learn about dating/domestic violence awareness month. It’s an important cause that deserves our attention💜 Sending love to all individuals and families affected.
I also flapped over to the table, @etaupsilonakas table, where they gifted me some cool breast cancer awareness gear 🎀Let’s continue to support those impacted by this disease💖
Then I visited the @redwolvesforstjude to learn how to donate to my favorite head-shaving candidate and sign up for their November 5K!🏃🏃🏾‍♀️🏃🏽‍♂️💨
I even got to hang out with the amazing @astateadmission team! If you’re looking to earn a degree or add to your collection, paddle on over to the admissions link: astate.edu/info/apply/
From the rich history to the welcoming vibes, I can already tell I’m going to have a quackling good time😁 Stay tuned for upcoming adventures!⛰️ Oh, and how rude of me.
