Thanks for making it extra fun @snooshperformance and pushing me to lift more than I should have lol. I loved the battle.

Thanks to my wife @vicky10100 for all her support and letting me do all these competitions

Thanks to coach @jasontsg for coming to help! This journey wouldn’t have been possible without your guidance. 🙏

Thanks to @drelnajohnson and @optimalclinic for keeping my body working 😅

Thanks to @theeatmethod for her nutrition coaching which kept my performance high and bw low enough to go right into worlds in 3 weeks!

Thanks to @emma_makeyourmark for handling and all the team Canada coaches for helping in the warm up room.

And lastly thanks to everyone who watched and supported me throughout this journey! It means the world to me.

Powerlifting may be an individual sport but it really does take an entire team to do this. And I’m grateful to have the team that I do because this wouldn’t be possible without you all. Haters included.

3 weeks out and last meet of the year. I’ll be ready. 😎

Guess me and @acheulifts deserve a Nanaimo bar along with a tapsilog now.

But much fun. Amaze amaze amaze. Hit QT again. Swipe to the last pic to summarize my deadlift in a nutshell. But ngl, 30 kgs jump on my dead in retrospective definitely is a ballsy move that made @remullagotgrams and probably some others heart rate to spike hahahaha. As much I’d like to share the physical and mental journey over the year, I’d rather keep it short and simple and say I enjoyed the experience being back at the same place that started it all for me.

@bandofbarbells thank you for hosting the most wonderful meet ever. It was important I showed out with the debut of their first ever hosted provincials.
—
Also someone find the @ for man that found my powerlifting shoe that I dropped in the middle of the road. Honestly the most clutch person of the day for me.

Thank you to the dream team @remullagotgrams @theeatmethod @upgradestrengthrehab for everything so far.

OPA Provs Recap (except i’m a washed out, retired lifter)

volunteered 6/6 sessions: 3 as a professional yapper, 2 as F1 Pit Crew, 1 at the tables of score. also managed to get training in between sessions and hit a conventional pr woohoo!

I’m so happy I got to catch up with old friends and be with the community! I also created new friendships which is always really fulfilling <3 I am grateful I got to be a part of this year’s Provincials:) @bandofbarbells put on a wonderful meet!

Alsooo thank you so much to everyone who gave me words of encouragement and compliments about my yapping??!!!! A part of me feels like you guys are just saying nice things to be kind, BUT I really do appreciate it 👉🏽👈🏽. As always, feedback is encouraged and welcomed!

Maybe next Provs I’ll be a referee (uhh ohhh) or an oly lifter (oooo shiiii). Wherever the wind blows, there I will be doing a side quest 🏄🏽‍♂️.

If you’re still reading, YIPPEEE. You get a kith mwahh 💋. Much love always - J 🤍💫
