🎥Tomorrow, Part 2 - Pre-Grid mental performance in FreeMind’s Beneath the Helmet with Elle Johnson at Racership Academy.

Belts tight, engine running, nothing to do but wait. This one covers what your body is doing in those minutes. You get a guided hypnosis experience, and leave with a reset protocol you can run in less than 30 seconds while strapped in.

September 2nd at 7pm ET in the Racership Racer Rooms.

🏁See you there.

Stepping away from the track during all this rain has given me the opportunity to take part in something really special! The mentorship sessions through Racership Academy.
Each session has offered something unique. Taylor’s Tool Box, Elle’s “Beneath my the Helmet,” and Sharon’s “Mind Over Motor” have all been genuinely amazing.

One of the biggest things I’m learning is just how much I can grow as a young racer beyond what happens inside the race car.

It’s not solely about lap times or racecraft. It’s about confidence, mindset, communication, personal development, and even learning how to share my own story with purpose.

These sessions have made me reflect on my own journey and realize that all of those things have shaped me just as much as the racing itself.

That’s what I’m really enjoying about this experience. This type of mentorship can make a difference not only in how I perform on the track, but in the person I continue to become away from it.

Still plenty to learn, and I’m looking forward to the next sessions. #racershipacademy

🧠 💪 This isn’t about simply “thinking positive.” It’s about understanding what your mind and nervous system are doing throughout the different phases of race day and learning how to make adjustments that actually impact your performance.

Across four sessions, we’ll break down:

🏁 Pre-Race Day — the work happening before you ever arrive.
🏁 Pre-Grid — the highest-pressure window that many drivers never train for.
🏁 Race — understanding your mental performance when you’re in the car.
🏁 Post-Race — what you do after a session and what you carry into the next one.

The goal? Identify at least one adjustment in each phase that you can take directly to race day.

📅 First session: August 12 (this Wednesday)
⏰ 7:00 PM EST

We’re EXCITED to welcome @theellejohnson of FreeMind Therapy to Racership Academy! 🏁

Elle is a Psychotherapist with extensive background in the deeper understanding of the brain and how it functions in racing. Being a racing driver herself, she brings a 4-part pilot series, Beneath the Helmet, to our Racer Rooms. Her contribution to our members and the Racership community takes this approach to tackle the mental side of racing from pre-race day to post-race debrief. This is the type of content you’re not seeing in other areas while also offering free individual sessions!

First session is Wednesday, August 12th at 7pm EST.
