Neither Chat GPT or your tik tok followers will save you when the floods and fires come! This is my apocalypse crew: @nina_karnikowski @peterwindrim @timogranzotti @brooke.brash and we make up @theembodiedecology - an IRL gathering of people looking to build resilience and life saving skills like growing food - for the end days! We also love a good laugh, a good boogie, journaling and tea ceremonies. So if this sounds like your kind of program and you want to join us in Feb - we will be glamping on my land together, listening to bird song, swimming in my spring fed waterholes while sharing a life changing experience. Who knows, you might even decide to move here with me for the apocalypse as some previous students have done! Only 16 spots remain - Save yours in my bio link 🐝

What should I plant in this subtropical climate? Leave your answer in the comments. And if my incompetence doesn’t scare you and you want to learn alongside me, follow @theembodiedecology to learn more about our upcoming agroforestry course in Feb where we will be actually planting said fruit trees. And stay tuned also for soon to be announced webinars with Andrew Cameron himself @andrew._.c. And to see the journey in action you can follow our forest / farm community page @beloved.forest.collective . Thanks Andrew for your patience and guidance. Sorry for all the bare soil I exposed during my landscaping mission and I’m looking forward to eating our cows, eggs and exotic native fruit with you when the world burns. 🐝🐔🌺

We created Embodied Ecology to bridge worlds - the one that lives within us and the one outside us. They are not separate, they never have been.

If we’re not taking care of the land, the soil and the trees, we are not taking care of our bodies, our food and how we breathe. They are quite literally the foundations of life.

We are a reflection of the outer. You cannot study one without the other. One of the most important aspects of any new experience is embodiment. We can do thousands of courses, workshops and modalities, but if it’s not integrated in the system, the essence is lost.

We have designed this immersion so that alongside deep diving into how to read the land, tend to it and create food systems, we are also tending to our internal systems that also require nourishment, space, reflection, creativity and movement.

We’re still feeling the rippling effects of the container that was created for our first immersion this year. The abundance of wisdom holders and vibrant meals. The music and dancing as we planted trees. The silence in the mornings to let the learnings steep. The ceremonies that connected us to Country and to each other. What felt really profound though is the group of humans that came together and became family.

We genuinely have limited spots for our next February immersion and they are now live on our website with payment plans to make it super easy and affordable to join us.

We have one scholarship spot - if you’re interested please email us by 30th November, theembodiedecology@gmail.com

All around the world the majority of our trees have been cleared for farming. So learning how to grow food while reforesting is truly revolutionary - that’s the essence of agroforestry and why I’m so excited to share these teachings with the world. We are so thrilled to welcome back @timogranzotti, @peterwindrim, @nina_karnikowski as teachers with @nomadichands offering massage and @brooke.brash serving tea. I will be teaching embodiment practices throughout the day (aka boogie time) so you can leave the immersion feeling high on life after soaking up the absolute beauty of this endangered subtropical rainforest, The Big Scrub. Spots are limited and we do have a scholarship spot available- so email us if you want to apply. Hope to see you in November, sign up link in bio. Xxx

People of the Forest has been selected by the @maearthstudio Foundation’s Collective Funding & Matching Round.

Out of more than 800 projects worldwide, our partnership with the Yawanawá People of Aldeia Mutum was chosen to help advance Indigenous food sovereignty, forest restoration, and community-led regeneration in the Brazilian Amazon.

Now through July 21, your donation can have up to 5× the impact through Ma Earth’s collective matching model.
Every contribution helps strengthen Yawanawá-led agroforestry, Indigenous seed stewardship, ecological education, and the protection of one of the most biodiverse forests on Earth.

If this work speaks to you, please donate today and share this campaign with five friends. Together, we can turn small acts of generosity into lasting ecological and cultural resilience.
Thank you for standing with us, the Yawanawá, and the living forests of the Amazon.

Ethnoecologist, ecological designer, artist and storyteller. Co-founder of People of the Forest.

Timo Granzotti weaves together ecology, culture, design, and Traditional Ecological Knowledge into living systems rooted in reciprocity and regeneration. Through agroforestry, ethnobotany, whole-systems design, and biocultural education, his work explores the deep relationship between people, land, and community.

From forests to community learning spaces, his teaching invites a reimagining of resilience — not as extraction or control, but as participation within living systems.

Cultivating landscapes that nourish biodiversity, cultural memory, and collective futures.
