Yeesh. 30 huh? 😮

A couple of years ago, I honestly didn’t know if I would make it to this point. But here I am....three decades around the sun. And in that time, I’ve lived through more than I ever imagined I would.
I won’t lie. I was dreading this birthday for a lot of reasons. Turning 30 felt so heavy. But now that it’s here, I’m choosing to see it differently. I’m choosing to see it as a fresh start. A new beginning.

And to make this day even more meaningful… today is also my book release day. 🙏🙏🙏
Resonance of Me: Poems & Reflections is officially OUT NOW in hardcover and paperback on Amazon! This project is so close to my heart, and it feels incredibly special to share it with you all on a day that already means so much to me. ✍️📖

To everyone who has been by my side through everything: the highs, the lows, and the moments in between. Thank you. I forever cherish you. Your love has carried me further than you probably realize.

If you’d like to give me anything for my birthday, I just ask for your support. Whether that’s buying my book, grabbing some EF merch when the new store is finally finished, or even sending a little gas money or a coffee. If you’d like to send something directly, my Venmo is @Emelle_Ef. 💓

Here’s to 30. To healing. To new beginnings. And to finally choosing myself. 🥂

What an insane, and truly amazing, night.

I took Katie and Will up to Lititz, PA to see our good friends in @eternalfrequencyofficial last night. Playing alongside hardcore act If Not For Me, they opened up for Galactic Empire (more on them later) during the latters’ album release party.
The show climbed to new, unexpected heights, when Darryl McDaniels of Run DMC came out and played three tracks with GE and @emelle_ef closing out with Walk This Way. You can’t prepare for that kind of musical combination, with a Hip Hop legend, who’s a Rock & Roll HOFer, singing with a friend, and backed by a Star Wars rock band.

You really can’t prepare for a night like this. It was a once in a lifetime show and I will remember it forever.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the most loving, driven, and kindest soul I have ever had the privilege of meeting. Your heart and talent are completely unmatched and every day I look at you and say to myself "how did I ever live without you?". Thats just it though. I didn't. I started living when I met you. You truly are proof that angels walk amongst us.

Happy Birthday my love.

Eternal Frequency headlined a great lineup in NJ over the weekend. This was Will’s second ever concert and he had an incredible night rocking out. The band loves him, and both Tyler and Emelle came over to see his stuffed puppy, Douglas, during the set.
After the show A.J. brought him up on stage, let Will try on his guitar, and showed him how to play a chord. It was a tremendous moment for the little guy and he was so happy.

I love taking Will to shows, and being able to engage with such amazing people is going to be something he remembers forever. Katie and I are going to pass down our love of music one concert at a time.

Happy #internationalwomensday to all of you strong ladies out there! 💪🚺
There are so many remarkable women in the music industry and not only today, but every day we celebrate the amazing female artists who continue to make a statement and pave the way for so many of us. Thank you for not only inspiring me but so many others to embrace our originality and use our talents to the fullest potential. Artists like @officiallzzyhale, @ashcostello, @mixiofficial, @mariabrinkofficial, @courtneylaplante and so many others have truly made their stamp on this not always equal industry. The work is far from over and we still have lots to do, but we continue to fight and make our voices heard. We are tough, we are vivacious, we are the badass dreamers who refuse to surrender. We raise a glass 🥂 to our rock & metal women! May we learn from them and lead by their example 🙏🤘🏻🖤

Floating, falling
Sweet intoxication
Touch me, trust me
Savor each sensation
Let the dream begin
Let your darker side give in
To the power of
The music that I write
The power of
The music of the night
