Can we talk about fall fashion for a minute? 🍂😍 It's not too cold to be fashionable, and it's not too hot to be fashionable either! Just the perfect weather to dress up and show up! 😉💃🏽 But beyond my Sunday Best, the Word from the pulpit today was POWERFUL! 🔥 God created every single one of us with gifts. And our assignment is to discover those gifts and find ways to use them to serve others. That, my friend, is part of your purpose for being here! ❤️ Think about it. We are all tiny pieces of this big puzzle called LIFE. And every single piece has a part to play. 🧩 My prayer for you today is that God will open your eyes to recognize the gifts He has placed inside you, and give you the grace, courage, and opportunities to use them to serve others. 🙏🏽 I'm so grateful that I've been able to identify some of mine. And every single day, I wake up praying that God will continue to open doors and give me opportunities to use those gifts to be a blessing to others. Because what's the point of having a gift if we don't use it to make a difference? ❤️ Now tell me, have you discovered your gifts yet? And how are you using them to serve others? 👇🏽 Happy Sunday, my people! 😍 #SundayBest #TheAdultImmigrant #FaithAndPurpose #KingdomInfluencer #FallFashion

If I'm counting my blessings in 2026, these ladies are DEFINITELY on my list! 🥹❤️ At the beginning of this year, it was just @theemuobos and me, and our little Sunday tradition of dancing for Jesus at @wearegateway 💃🏾😂 Then one by one, @deryn_niji others started joining us. And before we knew it, our little @stepsofjoyladies had become a beautiful gathering of women who simply love God, love to laugh, and aren't afraid to express their joy! Some Sundays we're many, other Sundays just a few of us. No pressure, no attendance register 😂 Just pure joy, laughter, dancing, and sisterhood. And as I reflect on all I have to be thankful for this year, I can't help but marvel at how intentional God has been with my life. Of all the places in the world, He brought me to London, Ontario. Planted me at Gateway Church. And placed me right in the middle of these beautiful soul sisters. ❤️ What a blessing! What a gift! Ladies, you may not know it, but each of you has been part of my joy this year, and I am so grateful for you. 🥹 Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! 🍁🦃 May we never lose sight of the little blessings that make life so beautiful. And may we never run out of reasons to dance! 💃🏾🙌🏾 Xoxo, Tayo #HappyThanksgiving #StepsOfJoy #SoulSisters #FaithAndFriendship #TheAdultImmigrant

We are hard at work preparing for the kids and teens sewing classes!!!! A huge shout out to @lensmillstore (London, ON) who partnered with us to make these classes more accessible to families! They provided tools and materials for our sewing classes! I love shopping at Len’s Mill London, if you haven’t been there check them out! They are more than just a craft and fabric store. On top of that the staff are exceptional, super kind! Len’s Mill Stores thanks again for be a big part of making the sewing programs possible! We have a sewing program for ages 9- 12 and a teen sewing program for ages 13-15 held at East Lions Community Centre. You can sign up at the program link in our bio. You can access our subsidy application from the same link. I am so excited to be working with the queen of sewing Ola as she has a@huge heart for the young generation and loves God! @olaemuobostudios #sewingforkids #eastlondon #faith #communityprograms #artsforyouth

And then we danced. We choreographed a dance, laughed until our cheeks hurt and reminded ourselves that wellness isn’t only about information. It’s about connection. Joy. Movement. Community. Belonging. Thank you to everyone who came ready to share, learn, laugh, connect and simply be. What’s Your Plug? wasn’t just an event. It was a reminder that we don’t have to navigate everything alone. Sometimes the plug is a resource. Sometimes it’s a person. Sometimes it’s a community. And sometimes, it’s a room full of people who make you feel like you belong. Belong. Connect. Be well.

So… what’s your plug? We asked the question. And what happened next was better than we planned! We talked. We laughed. We celebrated one another. We had honest conversations about hormonal changes, movement, muscle health and taking better care of our bodies. We learned how to better navigate the healthcare system, where to find support, how to advocate for respectful care, and the resources available through Black Health at LHSC. We connected with the Black Health Navigator and discovered that sometimes finding your plug simply means knowing who to call and where to go. But we didn’t stop there. Somewhere between the conversations, connections and laughter, we started a pepper production collective. Yes. A pepper production collective. Because apparently, when Black people get together with good ideas and good energy, you never quite know what might be born! Make sure you don’t miss the next one! Would you like to be a part of our community?
