Palm Sunday was filled with a palm branch processional, Alive choir, a wonderful sermon, an egg hunt, getting to see Lala on her 40th!, Jack being a tomb guard and showing us his “falling out” skills, and an afternoon/evening of singing fun at Evie’s vocal competition! It was a long day filled with many special moments leading us into Holy Week. This is truly my favorite time of the whole year 🩵✝️🐰🩵

After winning The Factor last year, part of her prize was the opportunity to record a couple songs at Young Avenue Sound.

Huge shout-out to Scott for creating such a welcoming, professional, encouraging environment. You made this such a confidence building moment for her & Caroline just killed it!

Watching students step into rooms like this and rise to the moment is one of the greatest joys of what I get to do. 🎶✨

feeling so incredibly grateful right now. i’m so honored to have been awarded 2nd place at this year’s TheFactor singing competition. the Lord has blessed me with the absolute best family in the song shack. definitely going to be a highlight of senior year. all glory to God, without Him none of this would be possible!❤️

Last weekend, I had the opportunity to give the guest performance at The Factor, a vocal competition that I was honored to win last year. It was an incredible experience to get to sing and cheer my friends on without the stress and anxiety of competing myself this time. I am so very proud of everyone who competed, and I’m so grateful to everyone who attended! I loved being 2023 winner and getting the opportunity to record at Sun Studios. So thankful for my amazing voice teachers who have helped me to grow so much. Thank you for all the last minute run throughs, hairdos, and moral support. @jbdstudios @ginavandegrift I’m so thankful for everyone who put this event together! Y’all are stars. @kincaidgooch @thesongshack If you are a singer and are even the slightest bit thinking of competing in the future, you should go for it! It is an amazing experience- you will meet amazing people, and you will learn a lot! So proud of @samibray for winning 2nd place in the senior division, Evie @rachelpaigeyoung for winning 2nd place in the junior division, and @terajane_ for winning 3rd in junior division! Evie had such a great night competing in The Factor contest. All these talented kids did incredible and had fun spending the afternoon together! We love this community of friends so much 🎶🎤🤩 Evie was also excited to come home with a second place trophy. @thefactorcontest
