Freak That 909 by Reggie Dokes and the Scan 7 remix are a testament to the legacy of the Roland TR-909. A drum machine that helped define the Techno sound. When our team was researching the history of Techno, we quickly realized that the TR-909 is a major part of the Detroit Techno sound and the origin of Techno music. When a musician can truly freak that 909 - the crowd’s only option is to dance the night away!

Freak That 909 and the rest of GSGEDM: The Score vol. 1 are available now on our bandcamp - and all music streaming platforms. We challenge you to freak that! Mix Freak That 909 into your next DJ set and send us the footage.

shaking my ass at the lake with a spliff is mine...
im throwing a party to emulate that satisfaction…

CHIAMI VICE. an end of summer lakefront celebration of eclectic bass and deconstructed club. i curated a lineup of selectors who have a gift for creating soul shaking genre expansive soundscapes that have given me so much healing. pull up, shake ass, and release whatever is weighing on your mind, body, and/or soul.

Pic for the algorithm! Type of tings we be cooking up @thefactory_chicago. The Factory is as a creative communal third space for black queer folk. This is where I’ve been bringing to life all the intricate details of my creative process. I am both deeply grateful and excited for what this space can do and be for the people!
