AD This really is a milestone moment - after 30 months of DIY renovating this house, we’re finally finishing the last room... ready to put in on the market!!! Today we’re dealing with this dated black conservatory and turning it into a calming sun room, perfect for summer evenings and morning coffees for our future buyers.   Starting with @Duluxuk Multi-surface primer and undercoat to cover up the black paint, then some Kitchen Easycare for the walls and Quick Dry Satinwood for the panelling, both in Egyptian Cotton. Forthe interior of the uPVC, I went with Quick Dry Satinwood, tinted in the shade Green Glade. The exterior uPVC was painted in Dulux Multi-Surface Weathershield in Green Glade - a great option for conservatorys, windows, doors and metal as it offers weather protection for all the British seasons.   So with all the rooms in my house some shade of green, we just gotta hope the next owners love the shade as much as I do!   If you want to try a DIY like this, you can get FREE testers using the code: THEFAFFINGNESTTESTER (T&Cs apply)   T&C’s: Restricted to Dulux 30ml Colour Testers (any colour or bundle). We brought together our HOUSE community for a day of open conversation, reflection and new ideas 💡 The morning focused on perspective. The afternoon on practice. With a roster spanning a broad spectrum of specialisms and styles, what mattered most to us was avoiding a one-size-fits-all approach or rigid “how to’s”. Instead, we focused on perspective… …thinking about audiences as communities, not followers, and building depth over dopamine. (After a game of Would I Lie To You) After lunch, we were joined by YouTube specialist, Rich Herd. Rich spent 15 years working with Jamie Oliver, building epic digital platforms and revenue streams. He shared practical insight on how to start (or grow) on the platform. We’ve always believed that creative events deserve a creative environment and Papermill Studios was the perfect setting! Thanks to all who joined us! And thank you to our resident event partners @mywifecooksmedinner for lunch and V @vitodane.photo for capturing it beautifully.

My first Chelsea Flower Show and I genuinely loved every bit of it. Getting there early was the best call I made. Some of those show gardens with barely anyone around them felt like a completely different experience to what it became an hour later. 30 degrees, 20,000 steps, afternoon tea at the Dorchester with some lovely creators, and a tube journey I won’t forget in a hurry. So grateful I got to go and thank you to @tiktok_uk for the invite and ticket. It was great to meet up with @lexie.v.g @younggrowersclub @sally_grace_gardening @thefaffingnest @homeonthegrove

Invited by @tiktok_uk (🥹🤩) to the @the_rhs Chelsea Flower Show 🌸🌷🌺 An opportunity I am still not over ✨ I consider myself to be a novice gardener (plenty to learn!) but this was still absolutely worth it. It was SO much bigger than I anticipated with something for everyone whether it’s outdoor, indoor, big or small! Key takeouts: * LOVED all the open gardens, each have unique planting and architecture styles * The houseplants & balcony sections are great if you’ve got an indoor or small garden * If you need water features, greenhouses, sculptures, or outdoor furniture there is a huge selection of brands showcasing there too! * There’s a huge indoor pavilion with every variety of plant you can think of, all different varieties laid out so easy to see Top tips: * Stands often sell their show plants on the last day from 4pm * There’s an RHS advice area if you want to chat to an expert, so take your questions! * Maps/guides are £18 so definitely do your planning before and then use the large maps around the show * Take a power bank for mobile charging (you will need it!) * Pop along to Chelsea in Bloom (from Sloane Sq) and see the floral decorated shops. Well worth it. Although doing both in one day, is probably too much of a rush. Next time it will be an overnight for me! Let me know if you’ve ever been? Or is it on your wishlist? …and I have 7 new hobbies ☺️ If you follow any other gardening accounts I’m sure you’ve seen all the Chelsea content this week so I thought I’d give you a quick taster of the bits that inspired me rather than an overall show review. The show gardens were incredible, and I went and bought some different poppy seeds because of them as lots of the gardens were filled with them, BUT it was the other parts of the show that had the biggest impact. Bricks, pressed flowers (@jamjar_edit ), natural dying, mushrooms (@caleybrothers ), rambling roses (@peterbealesroses ), colourful filling cabinets as planters and tapestries (@thefabledthread ) are now things I want to try at home and work. So thanks TikTok for inviting me and getting to hangout with some lovely fellow TikTokers ☺️ @thefaffingnest @homeonthegrove @jos_home_and_garden @sally_grace_gardening Oh and yes I came home with some flowers and a bronze fennel because you can’t leave @the_rhs Chelsea on a Saturday empty handed 🌱 #chelseaflowershow #gardeninspiration #garden
