Photos from a few games of CMR Softball! If i'm gonna be honest, these are probably tied for the best sports photos I have taken. (It helps to have a telephoto lens 😉)

Congratulations to the Class of 2026 from CMR & GFH!

The world can be a cruel and unfair place more than it needs to.
Tonight I found out that one of my favorite instructors from Full Sail University passed away Monday.
Jeff Radcliffe

I’m not going to say he lost his battle with cancer because he didn’t “lose”.
Even after every round or surgery and hospital stays he still made time for his students and his life.
He still LIVED.

Jeff always gave me the best feedback for me during my time in the Dan Patrick School.
He was a real “cheerleader” and one of our biggest fans in that inaugural class.
He wanted us to be the best versions of ourselves and to find OUR voice.
He loved my creative and sometimes unorthodox approach to certain assignments, and it was a bonus if I could make him laugh.
Without his encouragement, I don’t think I find my voice in sportscasting.
I don’t think the T-Man you all know today exists in ANY universe without Jeff.
His positivity was infectious.

The last time I was on campus was last November and that would be the last time I’d talk to him.
He was working remotely as he was having one of those days that was worse than others.
They had a laptop setup in the studio so he could watch his students at the desk and give them feedback.
I peeked my head in real quick and he goes, “is that Mr. T-Man?!?” I said hello and that I wished he was there and hoped he got better soon.
He told the students, “whatever this guy tells you, listen. He knows his shit”.

Saying, “I’ll catch you next time” to a guy that pushed you in the best of ways and there not be a next time…
Stings.

My hope is that if I get the chance to teach that I can have an impact on someone the way Jeff did on me.
RIP my friend.

Richard Tieman of @thefanshow brings Monday Night Football energy to Montana sports—Player of the Game belts, full production quality, coverage that makes local kids feel like pros.

What you don’t see: the touring drummer past, graduating from the Dan Patrick School of Sportscasting, the cross-country moves through COVID layoffs, the heartbreak that changed everything, and why a Montana town he couldn’t find on a map three years ago became home.

Today we tearfully said “see you on the other side” to our first little Tieman, Spock.
.
I fell in love with the little guy almost instantly when Danja brought home when we were still dating.
.
He was cute, funny, but above all, awkward.
So much so that we came up with the term “SpockWard”.
.
I don’t think you can replace almost 13 years of a warm purring body cutled up by your leg or on your lap, but his battle with cancer was hard fought and his pain is now gone.
.
My little SpockStar is now at peace as he rejoins his bother Sammy and sister Babykitty.
.
Black cats are not bad luck, theyre blessings.
We’ll see you on the other side of the rainbow bridge with the others.
.
Mom and dad love you kiddo!
