We are in the business of trust. If you don't know this, how are you even in business? How are you even going to win in your career?

Some people use AI to create more problems for their business. But this isn't about AI. AI can only scale what's already a culture.

Don't miss our virtual coffee chat happening this coming Saturday, 17th October, 2026.

Imagine you want to buy an ankara bag online, and you find two vendors. One sells it for 18,000 naira and has 80,000 followers, a beautiful page, and ads showing up all over your timeline. The other sells it for 25,000 naira and has only 2,000 followers, but her page is full of customers posting the bags they received, and she replies to every complaint, even the angry ones.

You have to make a choice, and if we are being honest, a lot of us would send the extra 7,000 naira to the second vendor without thinking twice. That extra money is the price of peace of mind, and it says a lot about how we decide who to believe.

This is what is quietly changing in business today. Anyone can look credible online now. AI can write reviews, copy a voice, and polish a page in minutes, so getting seen has become easy, while getting believed has become the real work.

So why do we trust some people, businesses, and institutions and stay skeptical of others? And what does it take to win trust back once it breaks?

"This was a good use of my time, and I'll definitely be here for the next one."

That's the kind of feedback that makes all the preparation worth it.

At our recent AI Builders Workshop with Enyata Community, participants didn't just hear about AI Agents. They built them. 🤖

One of those participants, Favour Bernard, shared his experience after the workshop, and one thing stood out:

"They broke things down, and it was very beginner-friendly."

That was exactly our goal. To make AI easier to understand. To make the tools accessible. And to help more people gain the confidence to start building.

Whether you're a student, creator, entrepreneur, professional, or simply curious about AI, there's a place for you in this community.

Watch Favour's experience and hear what he had to say about building AI Agents with Microsoft Copilot Studio. 🚀

Huge thanks to everyone who joined us and to Enyata Community for partnering with us on this journey.

More builders. More learning. More innovation.

We're just getting started. ❤️

August at Tech Social Lagos was engineers, founders and product people swapping notes across industries. Open floor, real talk, no agenda.

If that’s your kind of room, come around next month.

The conversations from our Abuja Networking Salon, the 3rd in Abuja, were full of conversations that pushed everyone to really think about what their identity is.

We talked about Identity, and then leading from that identity, and commercialising that identity.

@patrick.ojeh provided a lot of perspective around the conversation of Identity. And we want to share with you.

Enjoy!
