The camera roll and the calendar were both fullllll in September!! 📸 🗓️ 🥰 — Our month started off with a team outing to @saunicstafford . It was the most perfect, cozy night to spend enjoying their thermal experience. Can’t wait to spend our Friday’s in their space in October! 💃 — We are so grateful for all the opportunities to pop-up at some very cool events and lead wellness activations for all the attendees. It’s the best 🩵! — We celebrated a 5 year milestone with four team members. What a moment!! 🥹 — New products on the shelves, and sent some cute orders were sent out in the mail 📪 — We finally visited the brand new @thefitual space !!! I know we’re a little late to the party but ummmm we’re obsessed!! If you haven’t visited yet, please take our recommendation and try out a Mega Fitual class! — Fortify was selected as one of the 30 Entrepreneur Finalists in Canada for @futurpreneur ‘s 30th anniversary awards!!! We are SOOOO honoured!!!! Ready for what’s coming in October! (Ps. Our 7th birthday is coming up so soooooon! — Steph and Katrina spent a few days in Vancouver participating in a women entrepreneurship program lead by @theforumca . Three of my favourite moves for pelvic floor relaxation 🫶🏼 1. Supported Yoga Squat - Using a yoga block on the second highest setting, sit onto the block with feet and knees wide, place elbows into inside of knees and press knees outward. Allow deep breaths into the ribs (full 360 degree expansion here) and the belly focusing on pelvic floor relaxing down on the inhales AND staying relaxed on the exhales. Hold for a few minutes or as long as you can tolerate it. 2. Elevated Adductor Rockbacks - Place a block underneath your knee and extend opposite leg out long. Find a table top position with upper body and rock back and forth sending your hips to your heel. Allow long inhales and exhales through your movement. Again, do for a few minutes or as tolerated. Remember to switch and do both sides 🫶🏼 3. Ball Elevated Happy Baby - Place a small ball or pillow under your hips to angle them up towards the sky. You can pull your knees towards your arm pits here or take full happy baby by grabbing inside arches of your feet. Allow yourself to take long, slow inhales and exhales while holding here for as long as you can tolerate. Focus should be on allowing ribs to expand fully and pelvic floor to relax.

Table for 1200 gathered the meals. Now we’re gathering the warmth.   Blankets for 1200 is our community blanket drive, feeding into a Community Feast on October 15 at 190 Disraeli Street, a picnic with food and entertainment, delivering the meals fundraised at Table for 1200 alongside every blanket collected. Everything goes to someone. What we need: soft blankets in good condition, especially white, blue, green, or red. Sleeping bags, fleece, and neoprene are most wanted, but any blanket helps.   Three ways to give: 1) Drop a blanket at a collection point by October 10: @eq3 , @yogapublic2.0 , @thefitual , @faumanitoba Partner’s Office, @modoyoga.wpg , @openconceptyoga , or @studiolocal.ca (Gimli) 2) Bring one to the Community Feast on October 15 and stay for lunch 3) Buy one at storefrontmb.ca/store and we’ll deliver it for you   Thank you to Made With Love, Main Street Project, Main Street Action Plan, @wpgfdn , Modo Yoga, Yoga Public, Open Concept Yoga, Studio Local, and Fitial for making this possible, and to @lornaparashin for the installation.   #StorefrontMB #BlanketsFor1200 #TableFor1200 #Winnipeg #YWGCommunityCare

Finally had the chance to show the guys that pilates is "easy"... or at least that's what they thought in the beginning of the class 🤣 What's a better way to celebrate your 30th birthday than a private pilates class at the @thefitual with the gang? They literally made it sooooo easy to book and soooo fun to do! We might be her worst class ever, but at least we gave her the laughs 😭 Happy birthday, @jzmngbrl_ ♡H2 #pilates #forkeeps

Class pass giveaway ! ✨ We’re in the home stretch of summer and I hope you’ve been able to enjoy some time with friends and family over the last couple of months! For the month of August I’m offering all of my new and existing clients the chance to win a 5 class pass to @thefitual . Each appointment scheduled with me will be entered to win the giveaway. Each appointment = one entry. This is a great chance to schedule in an appointment this month if you’ve been wanting some help with a nagging injury. I will draw the winner on Tuesday, September 1st so you have three full weeks (and two Saturday’s!) to find an appointment time that works for you. Follow the booking link in my bio 💕 Goodluck!
