🚨WE HAVE A HOME BUT HIT A SNAG: ok the magic of social has happened and we have a potential home for the little angel to go to. The potential owner is serious and we’ve been back and forth all day. The animal charity in Kefalonia can help get things sorted BUT we need a local in Kefalonia willing to foster “Biscuit” for 4-5 weeks to ensure she gets tested, her vaccinations and be ready for travel. Either I or Zoe @theflooftales (the lady who found this kitty and the hero of the story by telling us about her) will go out and bring her back as her travel companion - but none of this can happen without help on the island. I’ve reached out to Kefalonian groups on Facebook but this is where anyone with any contacts in Greece could help. I’m very willing to pay someone to go and sit in a villa in Kefalonia with this cat for 5 weeks if they do what we need (anyone have a student child or friend who might be up for it?) - basically any suggestions / creative or otherwise - please share. We can’t let this fall apart now. If I didn’t have the bears to look after I’d be on my way to Heathrow now. I’m serious about the above. Do you know anyone who might know anyone in Kefalonia or do you know anyone who might be willing to go do this. Liz x

. [co-anchor peppa 🌶️] good evening and welcome to #inthemeows. [co-anchor cheezel 🧀] tonight, we have two very impawtant public service announcements, both concerning current fundraising campaigns. [senior correspondent luna 🌝] the first is carmel’s easter fundraiser for @zee_shelter, which desperately requires funds to extend it’s extremely overcrowded shelter. to enter, all you have to do is guess how many eggs are in carmel’s easter basket (each guess is £2). you could win a magic carpet ride with carmel #carmelsmeowgiccarpet and naming rights for one of the shelter kitties. check @cairo_carmel_blind_street_cat for all the deets. [🌶️] the second is @sodapopoflove’s fundraiser for herbert @itsherbertthecat. herbert showed up at his meowmy’s house over 2 years’ ago, a very sick and homeless senior cat. his meowmy takes care of his every need, but herbert’s current hospitalisation has been financially debilitating, and sadly, she may be forced to make a heartbreaking decision. please donate to help save herbert. each $5 donated earns 1 entry in the draw to win a furrbulous kate spade satchel bag ($379 value) or a $50 chewy gift card. check @sodapopoflove for all the deets. [🧀] #inthemeows, this week and last, happy birthday evie @theflooftales and happy gotcha day luna @luna__the_tiny_void.
