So exciting that Applaws is now stocked at Tesco and Sainsbury’s! 🎉❤️ *ad

Applaws has been one of our favourite cat food brands for a long time. We love how simple and natural their recipes are, with high-quality ingredients and nothing artificial or nasty.

Most importantly, it’s also taste-approved by all three of my cats - which, if you have multiple cats, you’ll know is no easy feat! 😂

Their absolute favourites are the Fish Fillet Broths and Fish Bone Broths. 🐟 They’re complementary foods, so I always serve them alongside a complete food, such as Applaws dry food, to make sure they’re getting everything they need.

And now being able to pick up their favourites while doing the weekly shop makes things even easier! ❤️

A myth about Ragdoll cats is they are all super calm and trusting. Bella is one of the most cautious cats I've known, so this definitely isn't true! She takes a long time to trust new people and even with me she has strong boundaries and I have to be careful how I interact with her. But it's all worth it when I see that she feels safe and happy 🥹❤️

We can't stop raving about our @thelitterrobot ❤️

Evie was my very first cat, and over the years we've tried so many different litter trays. But when Evie was 2, we got our Litter-Robot 4 and we've never looked back!

Evie especially loves using the Litter-Robot, which I think is because she's very hygiene-conscious 😂 She really doesn't like stepping into a dirty litter box and before we got our Litter-Robot she would sometimes even refuse to use her tray if it hadn't been scooped... and pee on the carpets instead (RIP carpets 😭)

That's why the fact that the Litter-Robot automatically removes waste after each use has been such a big help. It means she gets a clean bed of litter whenever she needs to go without me having to constantly scoop it myself.

I always recommend Litter-Robot to anyone looking for an automatic litter box because of the attention they've put into safety and quality, which is so important to me when it comes to anything my cats use.

Help us get this kitty off the streets and prepare her for travel to her forever home in the UK 🏡

We are still searching for a foster home in Kefalonia (but may also be able to consider mainland Greece or other Greek islands) that can take this kitty in ASAP.

We have been working hard to secure her a foster home for the past week but due to current administrative issues in Kefalonia, the usual foster homes are currently all full.

If you or someone you know can provide a safe and comfortable cat-friendly foster home for 3 - 5 weeks please DM me.

Background:

While on holiday in Kefalonia, Greece, I met the sweetest stray cat, and completely fell in love with her. I named her 'Biscuits' because she was always kneading the ground ('making biscuits') when she saw me. She was so incredibly friendly and affectionate. She would wait every evening by the road begging for food and attention. I fed her everyday for a week, and it broke my heart to have to leave her.

I reached out to the local animal charities on the island and they advised us that the strays in her area are fed by people locally and there are no shelters that can take in healthy cats.

However, living on the streets is of course not the safest or healthiest environment for her. Sadly it is incredibly rare for strays to find permanent homes in Kefalonia.

However, after sharing her story online, something amazing happened: we found someone in the UK who would love to give Biscuits a permanent, loving home. ❤️

We know that relocating a cat from the environment she knows is a big decision. We are speaking with people locally and want to make her journey as comfortable and stress-free as we possibly can.

If everything goes to plan, at the end of it she will have something very special waiting for her: a permanent home in the UK with people who already can't wait to welcome her into their family.

Hopefully the next chapter of her story will be her journey from the streets of Kefalonia to her forever home. ❤️
