🚨 Your child could own stock in a company you never approved. And you might not be able to sell it. That's one of the most troubling consequences of the Treasury Department's recent changes to Trump Accounts. Three developments every parent should understand: 1️⃣ Automatic enrollment. More than 60 million additional children were automatically enrolled in Trump Accounts. 2️⃣ No standard opt-out. Parents aren't required to contribute their own money, but simply leaving an account unclaimed doesn't undo its creation. 3️⃣ Individual stock donations. Certain donors can contribute shares of individual companies to groups of children. Parents cannot choose or reject those shares, which are generally subject to holding restrictions of up to five years. Treasury argues this approach will expand access to investing and attract more private contributions. But as a financial professional, I believe parents deserve more transparency, choice, and control over their children's financial futures. Let’s make resurrection rolls- a beautiful and tangible way to teach the Easter story to kids! We have made these every year since a friend shared the tradition with us and we love getting to share it with others. 💜The marshmallow represents Jesus’ body. 💜The butter, cinnamon and sugar represent the oils and spices his friends prepared his body with. 💜The dough represents the cloth they lovingly wrapped Jesus’ body in and laid him in the tomb. 💜After baking we open the rolls to see an empty tomb! ✝️He is not here, for He is risen! I found a beautiful printable from @thatbreadlady that we used this year! I’ll share it to stories so you can use it, too!

Butterfly 🦋 release day! It’s always so bittersweet. We have been doing this every year since Alex was 3 and he’s 12 now, you guys! How did that happen? A beautiful lesson in life cycles and a reminder for us parents at how quickly they grow up and spread their wings! As a military family, we have released butterflies in 4 different states and shared this tradition with so many of our neighbors and friends! What a gift.
