TheGallery at the Arts University Bournemouth offers a unique space in the South West for the arts including design, media and performance.

💫500+ hand-painted woodcut prints, images show them coming together.💫
After three months of printing and hand-painting over 500 individual woodcuts, the next stage is now well underway. The printed elements have been trimmed and brought together into the five horizontal rows that will form each finished work, across four different layers.

Seeing them laid out like this makes the structure of the series much more visible — repetition, mirroring and variation beginning to lock into place before the next stages of splicing, layering and intercutting.

As the @tbwdrawingprize exhibition at Trinity Buoy Wharf draws to a close the show will travel onto @thegallery_aub from 27 November through to February.

Echo Chamber IV is currently on view at @iscabordehill , curated by @theviolethour, in Turning Light part II who will also be showing Echo Chamber III in the group exhibition, ‘Anthologia’ in West London from 10 November.

It feels particularly satisfying to see works from the series appearing in different contexts while, back in the studio, the remaining editions are still being painstakingly assembled row by row, layer by layer and intercut and reassembled.

This weekend AUB was out in force at the amazing @artsbythesea, a celebration of art, music and performance right in the centre of Bournemouth.

Palace Court Theatre AUB was hosting artists as a backstage artistic venue before they hit the streets and was a space for performers to rest and refuel.

Out in the Lower Gardens we had @academyaub, @modipaub, @aubinnovation and our talented AUB students showcasing their work.

It was great to see Bournemouth buzzing with activity and to celebrate the power of creativity.

Honoured to receive the Postgraduate Winner Award at the AUB Summer Show 2026, where I showcased my portfolio featuring my MA Animation Production project, Interlace: The Relic Between Two Different Worlds, alongside selected works from my wider animation practice.

It has been a rewarding journey of learning, creating and growing throughout my time at AUB. Grateful to my course leader and tutors for their guidance and support.

The AUB Summer Show 2026 is open until 7 November 2026. Do visit and explore the work.

And with that, my studies at AUB are over. Thank you to all who have joined me on this journey & congratulations to everyone who has finished their degree this year as well!
It was an amazing and fulfilling time and if I had to, I would do it again in the same way. I wouldn’t want to change anything.

Here’s images from the AUB postgraduate exhibition, it’s still running until early November for those who want to catch it.

Thank you to @aubhistcostume for the amazing time!!!

🔍Quiet moments with the works of art. 🏛️

My previous post was all about the celebration, but this one is dedicated to the months of focus, dedication, late nights, and skills behind these final pieces showcased in this summer shows exhibition.

I loved capturing the incredible spaces filed with art wall to wall across all of these disciplines at @inspiredaub & @thegallery_aub. It is always so so inspiring.

🎓A big celebration after all the hard work! 🎨

I loved capturing the summer show opening night at @inspiredaub & @thegallery_aub. It’s always an incredible time watching students relieved, finally showcasing their final projects to a packed campus of friends, family, teachers, and VIPs.

The campus was filled with pure joy and celebration. The speeches were great, art market stalls thriving, and the food was fantastic to cap it all off.
