When we seek God for who he is and not simply for what he can give us, we find true satisfaction. God is our refuge in times of trouble. But he is worth seeking even if our troubles persist. 💯

No better way to celebrate 9 years of God’s faithfulness to our church than with baptisms! This year we will grow deeper in our devotion to God and remain committed to inviting people into the refuge that is found in Christ. 🙌🏾

We celebrate all of the men who do their best to be present fathers in their children’s lives. We also are reminded of the fact that our father in heaven cares for the hurting and the oppressed. 👉🏾Psalm 146:7 💯🙏🏾

Don’t withhold an apology just because you prayed to God about it. Real accountability looks like making things right with God AND the person you’ve done wrong. 💯

As Black women in tech, we know how common it is to feel like the only one in the room. That’s why seeing representation in action matters. Not only on stages and panels, but also in communities, conversations, and everyday spaces.

This is the BWIT Lisbon community. A safe space for Black women in tech to connect and grow together.

The last 24 hours have been BUSY! I curated a Liberation Concert in Brooklyn on Friday night. I hosted a men’s purity event Saturday morning. Then I performed at the Juneteenth Freedom Fest in Harlem later that day. Shoutout everybody who supported any one of these events and shoutout the legendary @michaelericdyson again for writing the foreword to my book! “LET MY PEOPLE FLOW” OUT NOW!

God promises to give us the desires of our heart as long as we delight ourselves in him. When God has his rightful place in our hearts then our desires will align with his perfect will. 💯

Maybe Thomas was not running from Jesus. Maybe he was tired of hearing about other people’s encounters and wanted his own.

Honestly, who cannot relate to that.
