Some wedding days just feel golden.

And we’re not just talking about the way the sun settles over the grounds at Oak Meadow, although we have to admit that golden hour around here is pretty hard to beat.

We’re talking about the way a bride and groom experience those first few hours of marriage. The excitement of finally saying “I do,” the overwhelming joy of seeing everyone they love gathered together, the quiet moments they steal away from the celebration, and those little looks that say, “Can you believe we’re actually married?”

There’s a certain glow that comes with a wedding day, and it has very little to do with the sunshine.

At Oak Meadow, we love creating a beautiful setting for all of it. The big celebrations, the quiet moments, the laughter, the happy tears, and everything in between.

Because years from now, you may not remember exactly how the light fell or what time the sun set.

But you’ll remember how golden it all felt.

And that’s the kind of wedding-day magic we love most.

WOW. @sincerelysalinastudios absolutely nailed her Seasons of Love Styled Shoot at @stonehavenweddings last week! 4 wedding concepts were beautifully and perfectly curated to each season utilizing every spot at the breathtaking Stone Haven! I loved getting to work with Salina again to create looks for “Dark Romance” and
“Italian Summer.”

Over 60 talented wedding vendors took part in this wonderful day and I’m so lucky to be able to share space with each and every one!

🍋 When life hands you lemons… make a lemon drop martini. 🍸

After four incredible years, it’s time for me to close one chapter at The Venue at Oak Place and step into a new adventure.

This house, its history, and the people who fill it with life have become such a meaningful part of my story. I’m beyond thankful to @wchapmanhsvrealty Tim and @tarasteakley79 for the opportunity, the trust, the friendship, and for being the best work family I could ask for. Getting to be a small part of preserving a piece of Huntsville’s history while helping so many people celebrate life’s biggest moments has been something truly special.

The greatest gift Oak Place has given me is the incredible community surrounding the wedding and event industry here in Huntsville. The relationships, friendships, creative partnerships, and people who have become so much more than professional connections are something I’ll always be grateful for. ❤️

To every bride, every family, every company, and every person who trusted me to help plan, coordinate, and bring their celebrations to life THANK YOU.

Will I miss the daily interactions, the familiar faces, and the magic that happens within those walls? Absolutely. But Huntsville is a little too small for this to be a real goodbye. 😉

Sometimes life hands us a few lemons, and we get to decide what to do with them. I’m choosing to squeeze every bit of goodness out of this next chapter, carry the friendships and memories with me, and toast to what’ coming next. 🍋🥂
