Usually, my job is to stay in the shadows, seamlessly blending into the background to capture your raw, unscripted emotions and fleeting luxury in real-time. But today, for The Gemma Social’s 2nd birthday, it felt like the perfect moment to step out from behind the iPhone and properly reintroduce myself! Hi, my name is Amanda! I am the founder and lead creator behind this page. In 2024, I launched this business with a vision to redefine how couples relive the best day of their lives - delivering full iPhone galleries within 24 hours of their wedding day. What started as a passion for capturing intentional, editorial behind-the-scenes magic has involved into a journey beyond my wildest dreams. While you see a lot of gorgeous weddings on this feed, here are a few things you might not know about me: 💛 I drink hot chocolate year round - it’s my form of coffee ☕️ 💛 Married my high school sweetheart & I’m a mom to two boys! 💛 My personal favorite part of a wedding day is always The First Look 🥹 💛 Lately, I’ve been experimenting with Super 8 film. Stepping outside of my comfort zone to learn a new medium has been creatively fulfilling, and it’s keeping me inspired for the future of our wedding imagery! 💛 When I’m not shooting, you can find me fixing up our new cottage 🏡 We are currently finishing up building our dream home and I’m so excited to see our vision come to life! 💛 Where does “Gemma” come from? Like I mentioned earlier, I have two boys and Gemma was the girl name I never got to use! I always joke with all of my friends that The Gemma Social is truly my third baby - and today she turns 2! 🎂 Whether you’ve been here since my very first post of just hit follow today, thank you for trusting my vision and cheering me on. I am endlessly grateful for my couples and clients. Year three is already brining some of our most breathtaking celebrations yet, I can’t wait to share them with you! ✨ WeddingContentCreator, DestinationWeddings, BehindtheScenesWeddings, EditorialWedding, WeddingIndustryProfessional, CreativeEntrepreneur, VogueWeddings, ModernBride, 2026Weddings, 2027Weddings #thegemmasocial #contentprouduction taken in Huntsville, Alabama by @thegemmasocial

R E A L B R I D E O F T H E D A Y! ✨💫🤍 Head over heels does not even begin to cover it. 🤍Our #weddingateliernycbride Caroline wore the stunning ‘Francine’ dress by @esteecouturebridal paired with the matching veil and bolero. The couple celebrated their special day at the most beautiful setting, Caroline’s family river home in Florence, Alabama, surrounded by tall trees, lush greenery and the people they love most. The kind of wedding that feels deeply personal and completely unforgettable. Caroline’s breathtaking lace look was so romantic, timeless and absolutely stunning from every angle. 🤩✨💫 Caroline & Noah, wishing you both a lifetime of love and happiness. 🤍✨ Bride: @carolinemathews7 Wedding Dress Boutique: @weddingatelier_nyc Wedding Dress Designer: @esteecouturebridal Planning + Design: @annawynneventdesigns Photographer: @heatherdurhamphotography Venue: Bride’s Family River Home Videographer: @thesnells_ Content Creation: @thegemmasocial Hair + Makeup: @hmu.bynat Shoes: @jimmychoo Bridesmaids Dresses: @cocolillys_ Floral Design: @oldfrond Stationery + Personalized Favors: @katiemathewsdesign Catering + Bar: @thestandardhsv Cakes: @barbs_cakes Tent + Custom Builds + ChairRentals: @eventswithsoho Specialty Rentals: @begathered_rentals Food + Beverage Rentals + Pendant Lighting: @curatedeventsnashville Lighting + Draping: @uniqueeventelements Linens + Chargers: @bbjlatavola + @nuagedesigns Linens: @whitedoorevent Ceremony Music: @felicitystringquartet Reception Entertainment: @thegreatgrandfinaleband Custom Dance Floor Wrap: @sighphotobooth Live Artist: @artby_sk Restroom Trailer: Lennihan Services Transportation: @nooga.shuttles Fireworks Show: Dick McKinley Classic Car: @coatscars #weddingateliernyc #esteecouture #esteecouturebride #alabama taken in Florence, Alabama by @thegemmasocial
