🫟🌀 SPIRAL 7 @jaminajarbar is a joyous & cosmic celebration of free-spirit, community and coming home on a cloud of music and life.

☁️ @thegivingstyle blew us away at ‘Spiral 4’ with just 2 members, they had us singing clapping & clambering around the venue looking for cool sounds to add to their connective sound bath.

🥣 They return next Thursday with a full band supported by the most colourful high energy people we have ever met in @kosmictroubadour, @lucyomnichord (making her London debut) & @yolanda.gabrielle.music

✨ Finally our very own @kristian.brightmore may well be making his singular annual solo performance, a rare sight to see indeed!

Details & 🎟️ where they always are - scrumptious artwork by @lindassaw / @lindalunaart once again! 🎨 👏🏻

The Giving Style blends psych-folk, chunky grooves, and punk-leaning blues with flashes of 90s R&B rhythm and swing.

Drawing from @TalkingHeads, @flaminglips, Lou Reed, and @richman_jonathan — while nodding to the groove-driven pulse of Shanice and Bell Biv DeVoe — the band also leans into moments of relaxed, romantic soul.

On an unreasonably hot day on Green Lanes @jaminajarbar ✨ a magical group of people turned up & proved that a healthy ecosystem can be built around a new grassroots venue - where the acts all got paid, the venue supported and nurtured new talent and everyone left looking upward.

🫵🏻👏🏻@fergaldonnellon kicked off with his first full London stage performance.

🪑@jammys_journal_ brought the music to the people outside with a stool and a smile.

☮️@l0ndongreek brought us back in for the revolution and @thegivingstyle had us doing all kinds of weird and wonderful things in the name of connection.

🌀 Spiral 4 was an absolute proof of concept. We wanted every event to feel like a variation on a theme with new elements added each time so it’s both fresh and familiar. A cathartic and intimate experience for both audience and performer that feels more like attending a festival for a few hours than a gig.

It’s fluid, it’s organic and we couldn’t be prouder of what this event is shaping up to be.

Jam In A Jar is a special venue to hold space for the weird and wonderful and it deserves to thrive and be protected so if you haven’t been in before, come say hello next Thursday.

💸 This time around we have set a ‘pay what you can’ policy as we want everyone to come and check out what this incredible venue has to offer.

🪬 We are so exited to be joined by 5 acts from 5 different genres to celebrate making it to the 5th event this year.

@cosmopyke
@electricboogaloouk
@stationmakingmusic
@berrar_darker

Who are all incredible examples of the diverse sounds that can co-exist in a venue like this.
You can donate on the door or where the links always are to help us keep building our contribution to an ever expanding community.
