I’m finally doing this!

I’ve always wanted to create a way for you to experience Pear Person beyond a live performance; to simply listen, lie back and use the music however you need it.

On 16 October I’ll be hosting an atmospheric instrumental guitar sound bath at Sona Space in Walthamstow.

No guided meditation. No expectations. Just music, a comfortable space, and some time to yourself.

Come to find some space, recharge, switch off, or simply listen. Tickets are in the link in bio.

I like setting goals and then even if I don't achieve them in terms of quantifying, I feel creatively fulfilled.

So here goes my 100 Songs project which I set out to do in the beginning of 2026, but was formulating well before that.

Without getting into it, I've chosen not to release my music on Spotify at the moment.

The thing that turns me on the most about music (being creative, making a final product, and sharing that directly with people) doesn't really rely on me using Spotify. The more I say Spotify the more I advertise for it and also the more opportunity you have to make a conscious decision about it. Okay, let's get into it... Spotify's owner Daniel Ek has invested in military AI operated weapons; I just didn't feel like releasing my music on the platform after that.

I choose to live in a happy, loving world. More and more I am taking a DIY approach and it is a struggle. Spotify is the way forward in that it is super accessible and I am definitely shooting myself in the foot by not releasing, and therefore not promoting my music to a wider audience (but realistically it only works for you if you work for it).

Shooting myself in the foot only makes me scream 'ouch!' and jump higher. I live a life of doing the things I love most and being with the people I love. And a tremendous amount of people support me. Yes, I know that by not releasing my music on Spotify I may quite possibly not even exist to a wider audience, which I would love to have - if a tree falls in the forest and noone hears it, did it really fall? Yes, it did, because there are trees and all of YOU around artists like me who heard it 🌲

Stick to your guns, but go easy on the war will ya?
