⛳❤️ WHAT A DAY, WHAT A COMMUNITY! A heartfelt thank you to every player, parent and supporter who joined us for The Golf Trust Special! From the golf and challenges to the laughter, generosity and incredible support, it was a brilliant reminder of what makes our golfing community so special. 🏌️‍♂️👏 But the biggest achievement of all? ❤️ TOGETHER WE RAISED AN INCREDIBLE £960 FOR THE GOLF TRUST! ❤️ We genuinely couldn’t be prouder or more grateful to everyone who helped make this possible. A wise man told me this morning with my birthday coming this weekend and turning 36 the end of this tennis season will mark half my life ( 18 years) finishing inside the top 10 in the world in singles. Not bad for a kid that was never gonna make it. Sometimes it’s good to look back to go forward and never let small minded people tell you working class can’t make it in tennis 🎾. #iusedtodreamaboutthis

I’m absolutely loving my new hobby, one I never expected to take up, let alone enjoy quite this much in all honesty 🙂 I first discovered the ParaGolfer earlier in the year at the Her Power Her Play event, where I’d been invited to speak on a panel about women in sport. I went along to talk about my journey in sport… and somehow came away having discovered a whole new one for myself! Golf was never something I imagined myself playing, but being able to play standing, to swing freely and experience sport from a completely different perspective is pretty special. Post professional athlete retirement, there’s something really lovely about being a beginner again. No pressure, no expectations, no big goal. Just learning, getting a few things wrong (quite a few 😂), and enjoying it purely because I can. This one is just for me. ❤️⛳️ A big thank you to Her Power Her Play for the unexpected introduction to my new hobby, and a very special thank you to the lovely Sarah Gee at Cumberwell Golf Club for making me feel so welcome last week, for all her patience and encouragement, and for teaching me what I know so far. ⛳️ WHAT A DAY! ⭐️ A massive THANK YOU and CONGRATULATIONS to every player who took part in yesterday’s Golfstars Match Day! 💚💛 It was a very proud moment for us to see the programme really come to life — and especially to see our first ever Golfstars graduates receiving their badges and celebrating their achievements with friends and family. 🏅⭐️ A huge thank you as well to all of the parents and supporters who came along, helped with the scoring and supported the players throughout the day. We know it was a long one 😅 — but hopefully a day everyone will remember! But there’s no slowing down… NEXT UP ➡️ GSL EVENT 4! 🏆 We’re back next Sunday for the fourth event of the Golftars League, with another chance to compete, improve your score and — for those chasing their next level — GRADUATE AND EARN YOUR NEXT BADGE! ⭐️ This one is going to be extra special too. 💚 Every player who enters will also be helping us raise money for The Golf Trust, a charity we’re incredibly proud to work closely with. They do fantastic work to make golf inclusive and accessible for everyone, creating opportunities for disabled people to experience, enjoy and participate in the game.⛳️💚 The more entries we get, the more money we raise. Mo was referred to us at Brokenplayaz from his care home... We introduced him to @thegolftrust and facilitated x2 paragolfer try out days ... Then it was off to @woburngolfclub to try the paragolfer at the golf club... The paragolfer is there for all to use provided by @therandagolf and lessons are facilitated by @thegolftrust Having not been able to play for 10 years he is able to get back to the game we all love ...

Thanks to @thegolftrust and their paramotion machine, wheelchair users can enjoy a range of sports 🙌 In this case, it’s golf for IPF Member and Welfare Officer John, who says: “It’s been a revelation. I never thought I’d be able to play golf again. It was a tremendous honour to host a Paragolfer Taster Day with @kent.golf and @thegolftrust today to show that disabilities need not be a barrier to participation in golf. Among the attendees was Ken Powell, Kent's disabled golf ambassador and a member of the @englandgolfteam disabled team. Seeing him hitting great shots in the Paragolfer was a sight to behold. Our GM even had a go...with mixed results! Hopefully the first of many Paragolfer events at Wildernesse.

🌍⛳ Taking Adaptive Golf to the International Stage! We are incredibly proud of Vishwa Vardhan Bhati for participating in the Dunkerque Golf Tournament in Dunkirk, France, held from 28th to 30th August. 🇫🇷 The tournament brought together approximately 55 players representing 7–8 countries, creating a wonderful platform for international competition, friendship and a shared passion for golf. After a practice round on the first day, followed by two competitive rounds, Vishwa Vardhan competed on a beautiful yet challenging course featuring water hazards, strategically placed sand bunkers, and demanding elevations. He secured: 🏆 14th Place – Stroke Play Net 🏆 15th Place – Stroke Play Gross The event was not only about competition but also about learning, growth and experiencing golf on an international stage. The pleasant weather, a slight drizzle during the second day, and a wonderful gala dinner added to the overall experience. The tournament concluded with the closing ceremony on the final day. For Vishwa Vardhan, this was an important step forward, a valuable opportunity to learn from international competition, witness exceptional talent, and understand the level of preparation required to perform at the highest level. “Every international experience teaches us something new. Now it is time to tighten my shoes, train harder, perform better and deliver more on the international stage.” ⛳🌍 Congratulations, Vishwa Vardhan Bhati! 👏 We are proud of your journey and look forward to seeing you grow stronger with every tournament. The journey continues.
