Incredible day of fundraising for @thegolftrust with @lashingsworldxi held @theshirelondon today! Our team of @golfstarsuk @ryan8mason @bencummingsgolf @vicegolf held their own on a course that is in superb condition and we thank all the participants for their help in supporting our cause to empower the lives of persons with disabilities through golf!

Mo was referred to us at Brokenplayaz from his care home...

We introduced him to @thegolftrust and facilitated x2 paragolfer try out days ...

Then it was off to @woburngolfclub to try the paragolfer at the golf club...

The paragolfer is there for all to use provided by @therandagolf and lessons are facilitated by @thegolftrust

Having not been able to play for 10 years he is able to get back to the game we all love ... taken in Woburn Golf Club by @thegolftrust

What a piece of kit! Thanks to @thegolftrust and their paramotion machine, wheelchair users can enjoy a range of sports 🙌

In this case, it’s golf for IPF Member and Welfare Officer John, who says: “It’s been a revelation. I never thought I’d be able to play golf again. But this means I’m like every other golfer and can enjoy a round with mates.” ⛳️

IPF Members – Let us know if you’d like to give golf a go!

When a concept becomes a reality!

Huge thank you to @vicegolf and @bencummingsgolf for bringing this vision to reality. Understanding emotion and regulation for our participants is key, especially those who are non verbal and have trouble expressing their feelings.

Thanks to Vice Golf we now have a way to break that barrier of emotional communication with a ball. This will help our students and coaches create positive outcomes quicker especially those with Autism.

Linksfest at @thehomeofgolf was a huge success! Partnering with our good friends @drinclusivefitness to help ensure the accessibility for all who wish to try was available by bringing a second Paragolfer. It was great to show families how much fun can be had with golf! by @thegolftrust

It was a tremendous honour to host a Paragolfer Taster Day with @kent.golf and @thegolftrust today to show that disabilities need not be a barrier to participation in golf.

Among the attendees was Ken Powell, Kent's disabled golf ambassador and a member of the @englandgolfteam disabled team. Seeing him hitting great shots in the Paragolfer was a sight to behold. Our GM even had a go...with mixed results!
