What happens when your work starts taking you beyond borders? 🌍

For Oyinkansola, @thegraceola remote work opened her up to international clients, new industries and opportunities she never expected.

But along the way, she also learned some hard lessons, from turning down work that wasn’t worth the pay to losing a high-paying contract and having to rebuild.

Today, she’s more intentional about creating multiple income streams, saving better and making sure one lost client doesn’t throw everything off.

In this edition of Borderless Gist, she talks about earning internationally, figuring things out as she went and what she’d tell someone waiting for their own big opportunity.

Read her full story on our blog.

Oyinkansola Ogunyinka Edem has worked in-house, at an agency, and now freelance, and she’s candid about how differently ownership works in each. In this feature, she talks about the skill most marketers underinvest in, why freelance pricing is more inconsistent than anyone admits, and what she wishes someone had told her earlier in her career.

Swipe through for the full conversation.
