Lina @thegymwalk ran with AWR @officialbighalf thank you 🙏🏽 🧡

“Not 100%, fresh off an injury, but I still showed up and ran with pride. ❤️🏃🏻‍♀️

Proud to represent Asian Women Run at The Big Half a community helping to encourage and inspire more women to walk, run or jog.”💪✨

Well… I genuinely didn’t think I’d be doing this today. 🥹🏃‍♀️

After a long break from racing and coming back from injury, I lined up at The Big Half with one very simple goal: don’t do anything stupid and get to that finish line in one piece. 😂

No chasing PBs. No heroics. No “let’s see what the legs have got.” Just be sensible, listen to the body and FINISH. And somehow… I DID IT. 🥹❤️

It was HOT. Like… who turned the London heating on?! 🥵😂
But so were all the runners who absolutely smashed it today!

Huge congratulations to everyone who raced, especially all my friends who bagged themselves a PB — you lot were flying! 🔥

And a special shoutout to: 🏃‍♂️ @malayruns for absolutely stinking up the place with that PB 😂
🏃‍♀️ @daglorious1.0 for taking on the relay
🏃‍♂️ @sharan.kaur — sorry I missed you!
❤️ And @soniak1904 … we missed you! Racing just doesn’t feel quite the same without you.

The atmosphere was incredible, the crowds were brilliant and @officialbighalf absolutely smashed the organisation. Such a smooth, fun and properly buzzing event.

And finally… KuDDOS to the fire brigade 🚒💦
Those hoses were doing God’s work today. Honestly, that wasn’t water — that was liquid salvation. 😂

Today wasn’t about a time.
It was about getting back to the start line, trusting my body again and remembering why I love this crazy sport.

One race closer to being properly back. ❤️‍🔥

Some runs are about the distance, and some are about who you share the miles with. 🏃‍♀️❤️

A new parkrun, a clear head, endless laughter, genuine friendship and the kind of company that feels effortless. No noise, no judgement, no unnecessary energy — just two besties enjoying a new adventure and leaving the bad feelings and bad moods behind.

Trust. Laughter. Good energy. Real friendship. And miles worth remembering. 🫶🏼

Happy Global Running Day!! 🌍
Running has given me so much - from day-to-day purpose to creating memories for a lifetime with people I love. And a full circle moment happened when @ashitee.desai ran the @londonmarathon too last month! 🤯
From running the London Marathon 5 years ago to @chimarathon later this year, it's been quite a journey with the highest of runners highs on completing the 3 Marathons, especially @nycmarathon, to lowest of lows when experiencing bone cracking injuries - Twice! (Both self inflicted ofcourse!). Finally, taking @arvickmoments on my runs in his running buggy has been nothing but special! ♥️
Look forward to what more this sport has to offer as I feel it's just the beginning 😎 #globalrunningday #running #marathons

What a beautiful beginning to the weekend 😍
Celebrating my 100th park run milestone, it's a big achievement for me considering I was not consistent with it until the last 2 years . Proud of myself 😊

Having such a dedicated and genuine run group is like having a strong backbone that keeps you going in this wonderful sport 💪🏻. It’s the start of an amazing journey — one built on friendship and a shared love for running. Together, we’ll build a solid syndicate and thrive through both the good runs and the tough ones. Together, we’ll move and improve — because together, we are #StrideSyndicateOfficial
