FROM CARLY

Hi, I’m Carly, a holistic bodyworker with six years of ongoing training in Ortho-Bionomy, along with certification in Usui Reiki.

My approach is gentle, non-invasive bodywork that works with both the physical body and the energetic field, supporting your body’s natural self-corrective abilities. I believe your body already knows what to do- it just doesn’t always have the information it needs to do it.

Rather than forcing muscles, joints, or the energetic system to change, I use gentle positioning, movement, and energetic awareness to offer the nervous system clearer information about what’s happening. As awareness increases, the body often begins to release tension, improve movement, restore energetic flow, and reorganize itself in a more balanced way.

I don’t see my role as fixing people. I see it as helping the body become more aware of itself-physically and energetically-because with awareness comes choice.

Your body already knows what to do.

Cold plunging is not my thing. Like, at all. But every once in a while, I do it anyway.. not because I love it, but because I love what it teaches me about myself.

Why do you cold plunge?

A couple days ago, I had a session with Laurian, who was dealing with pain in her sacrum and a tight IT band. We started by working with her sacrum and the surrounding joints, but things weren’t really shifting.

Then, we explored the connection between her left ovary and the same-side leg. That’s when everything started releasing. Her sacrum relaxed, her IT band softened, and her nervous system seemed to settle.

It was a great reminder that pain doesn’t always originate where we feel it. The body works as a whole system, and sometimes the key to relief is in a totally unexpected place.

This year, I’ve taken a step back from learning to heal others and prioritized self-healing and reconnecting with my own body. ✨

I’ve realized that understanding and sensing others’ systems becomes so much easier when I have a deep understanding of my own. I also just want to make sure that my practice, when I take the leap on establishing it, will be built upon a foundation of wisdom through experience and not solely theoretical knowledge and technique.

In the new year, I’m excited to share more about Ortho-Bionomy©️. It’s an incredible practice that has transformed my own life and I can’t wait to start helping other people more on their healing journey’s.

Stay tuned for more insights and updates 😄☺️

*** my A.D.D. seems to be prevalent in this video. Hope the thoughts I was trying to get across are recognizable and not misinterpreted while jumbled in my rant 🙈 I will get better at these ☝🏼
