Women supporting other women is one of the most powerful positive forces. Takeaways from today: I’ll be kinder & more mindful when speaking to my mum, because the menopause sounds like it sucks! Good to be educated by Dr Rachael on what’s coming in time for my body It takes a village 🤍 being mentally or physically strong shouldn’t be worn as a badge of honour to do everything yourself despite how capable you are. Being present is vital if you’re going to wear different hats which as women, we often do multiple times in just one day. And lastly, your environment is everything 💭 A day of honesty, reflection & understanding. Thank you @women_ofsteel 🤍

A NEW category to round out 2026 👀 It’s a new one to us, but an important one given how much we know training together as a family matters. Question is, will your teen want to compete with their mum or dad? 🤩 Tag your training partner, see if they are in for one last throwdown of 2026… #training #crossfitcompetition #flowwintergames

This was our first ever competition open to other gyms as well as our own and boy was it incredible! We had many of our own members taking part and we were happy to welcome plenty of others into our space to take part and take on our competition! We had a great turn out and definitely want to look at doing this again! Who would you want as a partner? ⬇️⬇️⬇️

Aimee’s first BMU boxed off 🥹 Aimee joined Level Up at the start of August and it was clear that she had been trying to get that first muscle up for a while, to the point where it felt like it was never gonna happen for her! One of my biggest jobs as a coach is to help you simplify movements, a lot of what we do in CrossFit is complex as fuck, and if we go into them thinking about every intricate detail, it becomes overwhelming! So I took the approach with Aims of stripping it back, breaking it down so each point of the movement could be ticked off and we understood what was actually happening! Two weeks into this and I could already see that she was at a point where it was there if she wanted it! That next week she got herself not only got herself one, she had the audacity to try a second (got time for that 😂) but went on to hit another too! Sometimes all it requires is a different approach, doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result is insane after all! Proud to have helped her hit a milestone she didn’t think would ever come, now we build! 🫶🏻

Thank you a million times over to the first 11 people who have taken time out of their busy schedules to come and share their experiences on The Connect Cast . Speaking about topics close to the heart is one thing, but being filmed in a studio whilst talking about these topics is another, it can feel super exposing so I’m very grateful that this lovely lot was up for coming down and having a chat over at Bridge Street Studios 🎙️🎧🖤 “The beginning is magic. It can be scary but it’s also just..magic”

Women of Steel is back and this time we're talking about identity. Who you were before life changed. Who you are now, in all of its complexity. Who you're becoming, even when you're not sure yet. We hold so many versions of ourselves at once - the friend, the fixer, the professional, the daughter, the carer, the one who used to do that thing she loved, the one who is figuring out what comes next. Women of Steel Event Two is a space to sit with all of that, without having to have any of it figured out. Event 002. Sunday 25 October 2026, 12:00 to 16:00. Steel Foundry CrossFit, Salford. Tickets coming soon.

We’re still buzzing from our very first Women of Steel event. Thank you to every single person who attended, supported, contributed and helped make Event 1 so special. This community is only just getting started. Our incredible speakers: ✨ @geegebuckley (@geedietetics) & @theirishbambi : Founders of Women of Steel, speaking all things fuelling your body, building confidence and challenging your inner critic. ✨ @nilltavangar : Acute Medical Doctor, who gave an inspiring and educational talk on breast health and the importance of checking your boobs. A truly charismatic queen. ✨ Amie (@sprtlondon ): Sharing the story behind her female-founded brand, designed to support and empower women in sport, while also championing female charities and inspiring the next generation. ✨ @gjgyms @resculptstudios : Who lulled us into a false sense of security before putting us through an unforgettable RE-SCULPT workout that left us with shaking legs and plenty of laughs. ✨ Danica from @kontrastuk : Who generously donated two 90min sauna and ice bath sessions and introduced us to the incredible benefits of hot and cold therapy. A special shoutout to @meglandipt, @sammyrockett and @l_0_i_5, who have been absolute stars behind the scenes. They’ll be playing a much bigger role in future events and we can’t wait for you to see what’s coming.
