“Why do you work so hard?”

Because I know who’s looking up to me.

Being a stepdad means more than just being there. It means setting the example, showing them what hard work, responsibility, love and commitment look like.

I want my little ones to grow up knowing they can dream big, work hard, and build a life they’re proud of.

So I’ll keep showing up. For them.

Locked into the craziest journey. Not just moving countries, but building a life with my person, best friend, partner in crime, my wife.

For so long all my goals were focused on material things, money, status, without real purpose.

She changed that, gave me a bigger purpose suddenly all my goals are focused on our small family, creating core memories and enjoying life and our journey one day at a time.

Rich in life because I have you. Blessed because I can do life with you. You’re my home and my peace.
One down now on to ♾️.

9 months.

Two countries.
Thousands of kilometres.
Hundreds of calls.
A million moments where “soon” was the only thing we had.

But we never just waited.

We grew.
We pushed each other forward.
We built a future before we ever got the chance to stand in it together.

People saw distance.

We saw home.

And now there’s only one more sleep between the life we’ve been building through a screen…

and finally living it.

Tomorrow, the waiting dies.
Our life begins. 🖤

“How can I improve myself?”

That question sounds simple.

But most people don’t actually want the answer.

Because the answer is usually boring.

More discipline.
More patience.
More reps when nobody cares.
More days where you do the basics even when your head isn’t in it.

No magic switch.
No perfect timing.
No version of life where it suddenly becomes easy.

Just you, your standards, and the decision to stop letting the old version keep winning.

That’s where it starts.

Not anymore.

There was a time I would’ve taken it personally.

The disrespect.
The doubts.
The quiet hoping that I’d fall off.

But at some point you realise most people aren’t actually watching because they hate you.

They’re watching because your growth makes them uncomfortable.

So let them watch.

I’ve already been through the fall.

Now I’m building the version of me that doesn’t need revenge, arguments, or validation.

Just discipline.
Direction.
And a life that speaks for itself.

Some people will only respect your boundaries when they benefit from you having none.

The moment you choose peace, you’ll disappoint someone.

The moment you stop explaining yourself, someone will call it cold.

The moment you stop playing the version of you they were comfortable with, someone will make you the villain.

Let them.

Not every role people give you deserves a defence.

Sometimes the most mature thing you can do is stop fighting for a place in rooms that never gave you peace anyway.

Wear it.
Own it.
Move forward.

I used to wait for life to feel easier before I changed.

Better timing.
Better mood.
Less stress.
More motivation.
A perfect week where everything finally made sense.

But that week never came.

And eventually I realised something uncomfortable.

Nobody is coming to fix the habits I keep repeating.

Nobody is coming to build the body.
Nobody is coming to build the money.
Nobody is coming to build the future.

That part is on me.

And once you accept that, you stop moving like someone who needs saving.

You start moving like someone who decided.

Different doesn’t happen because you want it badly enough.

It happens when you finally get tired of meeting the same version of yourself every few months.

Same habits.
Same excuses.
Same emotional reactions.
Same promises you keep breaking.

I’ve been there.

Thinking about change.
Talking about change.
Waiting for the perfect moment to become someone different.

But nothing really shifted until my standards did.

The way I trained.
The way I spent my time.
The way I handled pressure.
The way I showed up when nobody was watching.

That’s the part people don’t see.

Before your life looks different, your choices have to look different.

Before your body changes, your standards change.

Before the next chapter starts, the old version has to stop getting a vote.

So yeah.

If you want different, move different.
