Picking up from part 2.

@dianalives and I jammed so much into this year it’s crazy. But I wouldn’t have it any other way. Grateful for the ride and for all the new friends along the journey and for the ones I could spend even more time with.

Daddy’s gotta work in 2025 to pay for formula 🤣

Happy New Year 🍼 💦

I started attending a once-a-month paint night in Burbank by the suggestion of my friend, Ginger, in September. Emily, the teacher, guides you along the entire process for the month's photo. She has taught shading, shadows, lines, color gradients! Her safe, fun and lovely paint nights quickly helped me realize that I love painting!
I bought supplies with a lot of hesitancy and was hoping this would be something that stuck as I'm quick to pick up new hobbies and then lose interest pretty quickly. But this .... This has been something else. I've used it to navigate feelings and I've been able to paint feelings I couldn't put words to. It's been so therapeutic.
The other night I sat with a friend I hadn't seen in years and we talked and talked over chips and tacos. After hugging goodbye, I was, for the first time, inspired to paint something beautiful, calm and loving outside of paint night. Megan Perrin inspired color, softness, playfulness and joy. She was a spark! She's represented in the pinks and purples while her pups sit nestled in her glow. 💜

I went to see Santa Paws at @dobbiesgardencentres today! Mama has been baking since we got home and the tree is stuffed with presents (I presume they're all for me). Less than a week to Christmas!😁
