Looooove being a tourist again in my own city. 🥰 here’s your sign to book that staycation to *feel* like a getaway.. but be able to be home in 20 min the next day.

We had a fun health/wellness event in the morning with @swphealth then stayed at the @omniatx downtown which is *prime* downtown walking location and incredible views at the rooftop pool.

Literally .1 miles to 6th street for dinner, live music bar hopping, and finally checked out @comedymothership (BIG fan of stand up comedy - but can’t tape anything in there to show!)

Slow Sunday morning with coffee at the hotel and a nice long city+ lake walk stroll.

Seriously feels like you’re exploring a new city when you haven’t been downtown (or literally gone out at all) for a long time, reminded me why I love this city so much 💕

Big thank you to @austinhowfit for planning this one out for us 😘

🧩 Want to Scale Faster? Build the System First.

One of the best ways to lighten your workload (and actually grow)?
✅ Build a simple, repeatable process
✅ Share it with your VA or team
✅ Let the system handle the heavy lifting

At first, you might have to micromanage a little—but only to make sure it’s being followed right. Once that’s dialed in, you step back and let the machine run.

Inside our #SpeakerScale weekly community calls, we help you build these systems so onboarding is smooth, your team knows exactly what to do, and you can focus on the high-leverage work that moves your business forward.

🎯 Niche Your Message, Book More Calls

One of the most powerful shifts we’re seeing?
🔹 Targeted messaging by audience
🔹 Clear positioning that speaks directly to their role
🔹 And boom—calls get booked faster

In this case, we branded one outreach account specifically for Learning & Development professionals—and it instantly started converting. Why? Because the message felt made for them. 💡

Inside our #SpeakerScale weekly community calls, we teach speakers how to niche down, speak their audience’s language, and create messaging that books calls before you ever say a word.

Building strong relationships with potential clients is key. I don’t believe in selling right away. My first step is to truly understand what they need, what their company’s about, and what challenges they’re facing. From there, I can dive deep and think about how I can provide the best solution.

The most important question? What are your needs? Listening carefully is crucial. If their needs align with my expertise, great! If not, I’m always happy to refer them to someone I trust. That’s how relationships are built through value and trust. And when you refer someone, they remember and often return the favor. It’s all about the long-term connection.

Relationships over transactions.

✨ Generic Pitches Don’t Book Gigs — Specificity Does.

When reaching out to prospects like associations or ERG leaders, adding just 10-15 seconds of research into your outreach message can be the difference between being ignored and getting a “yes.”

✅ Mention something timely they’re facing
✅ Reference their industry’s current challenges
✅ Align your message with what they care about

This is exactly what we help you refine inside the Speaker Scale weekly community calls—turning cold outreach into relationship-building opportunities that convert. 🎯

Because the more relevant you are, the more stages you'll land.

Self-doubt isn’t the enemy—it’s a power tool. 🔑

What if, instead of letting doubt control our emotions, we used it to fuel our next breakthrough? The real transformation happens when we step back, gain perspective, and lean into the uncertainty—because that’s where growth happens.

Embracing doubt isn’t about eliminating it; it’s about using it to sharpen our awareness, challenge our assumptions, and take that first bold step forward.

So, the next time doubt creeps in, ask yourself: How can this be my advantage? 🚀
