POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

The first SGI Fingerstyle open mic went down with a host of talented artists.
Thanks so much to KW Famous Creative cafe for the space and Untied Productions for hosting, as well as our friends at Midtown Radio who recorded the magic.
Check out Brickhouse Guitars in kitchener for SGI guitars and services.
Also thanks to Juneyt, who opened up the playing with his remarkable flamenco.

One more week until the Gruhn St Porch Party!

In the meantime, hope y'all are out enjoying the Grand Porch Party today....and we have another group of performers to intro:

The Joy Risk!

The Joy Risk is a musical project about creating because you must. The emotionally compelling songwriting of friends Jay Harrison and Deren Atkins is driven by percussive fingerstyle guitar and commanding vocals.

They encourage their audience to take a risk, and relish the joy of overcoming.
We’re thrilled to have our talented friend and neighbour Paul Van Der Vorst fill out these songs on percussion, uke and bass.
